[ラフ] ホタル (Pixiv Fanbox)

Sorry for absence… I have been working slowly on the outfits for the height chart girls. But while doing so, a random idea pops up and I want to draw it immediately! Considering how I haven’t done any finished drawing in quite some time, it might be best I do this drawing quickly so it makes me feel better and more motivated to continue the tiresome work of 11 girls haha… Anyway, even though I don’t play HSR, firefly has somehow really grow on me and eventually I realize I just really like this character LOL From her sad af backstory, to her now gentle very girlfriend-y personality, then her wildass being SAM all along, just wow! Before I knew it, I already bought a cheap phone case with Firefly chibi patterns, a figure, and a plushie thing of her! XD Gotta say though, maybe something about certain characters? Almost as if love in first sight, I always struggle drawing characters that I really really like… eg. Kashima from Kancolle, Belfast from Azur lane, I duno why, I always have tons of trouble sketching these girls… So I really hope she looks good in these sketches… 0x0 There has been many firefly drawing all over twitter, especially the very popular naked armour drawing by YENI. As nice as that drawing is, the armour in that drawing is like half broken? So I thought, why not try draw a skimpy armour design but with it fully intact. It is something I wanted to do some 6-8years ago when I used to really like Gundam Unicorn, but due to me simply not that creative, I struggled really hard turning Gundam Unicorn into a Gundam girl… so this time I wanted to give it another try~ This drawing actually got another version, which is the original idea I had for this drawing and that made me really want to do it right away.
