In the end, it was Kaine all along. Probably not terribly surprising, I was being coy about it in that one post where I announced I'd be doing something Nier for a reason. I had sort of planned to do it, since she won at this time last year, so I figured I'd do it again. Kind of overwrite the negative feelings of last year with some good old fashioned trolling. Though for some of you, this may be like an oasis. Kaine x Yonah? I couldn't find a single animation featuring the two. And while you can't see her face here(it's not actually Yonah, since I didn't want to do a brand new rig), it's close enough. And the jorkin' it animation is canon, from what I know. Something to do with some written side-story? I dunno. I was informed of this fact by someone a couple years ago now, and it's been living rent free in my head since. Now I've done it, so hopefully I can move on with my life.

Anyway, some other behind the scenes facts about this set. Despite having decided on it a solid month ago, I procrastinated on it all month. I chose the damn character, and I was like "eh, I'll do it later" everytime I told myself to start working on it. Instead, I quite literally started it the day I posted that pit-stop update. Yeah. I spent the past two days on these four animations. Cutting it very close. Reminds me of my college days. But for two days of work, these are better than I could have hoped for. My side project training is paying off.
