And in the most shocking of shocking events...!

Not really. I think the most shocking thing here is that it was a LOT closer than I expected. I honestly expected Juri to completely dominate and get like twice as much as the runner-up. Instead, things were actually somewhat close. Juri did win handily, but Jenet isn't tha far behind, and Jun isn't far behind her. And that's mildly surprising to me - was expecting Jenet to be in last place based on past results for KOF characters. Then again, I guess she's one of the more popular ones. I'd imagine someone like Shermie would perform well, too.

Anyway, Juri and Jenet will get two animations. Jun may get a second if I'm feeling it, but I won't promise it. I've been kind of in a small rut the past week. Haven't animated anything since I finished Lulu, and have just been faffing around. I have been Blending, but it's been a combination of rigging and renders. I've been on a bit of an anime-style kick this year, for whatever reason, and I've so it's mostly been focused on that. I'll go ahead and dump some of the stuff I've rendered in between rambling about potential sets and ideas I've got, as well as the renders themselves. So feel free to skip the text and look at the pictures. x)

I am actually getting very close to starting something with Mitsuru, thanks in part to getting better with anime style shaders, lighting, and what not. That's partially why I hadn't done anything with her in the first place; wanted to get better so I could do her proper justice. And I think I'm getting to the point where I can. Probably still won't happen anytime soon, but hopefully it'll be this year. I still want to get to Fuuka before then, too. And there's other Persona characters I'd like to get to.

Yeah, Kawakami. Only been seven years since I last did her. Better late than never I always say. No clue when I'll actually do something with her, but I've got her now. Along with some others.

Sae, among others. Won't be revealing my full deck of Persona characters here, just throwing some out there. But Persona isn't the only thing I've got on the docket. Or at least the 'would like to do' docket, since I have no actual clue what I will be doing.

When I did Tatsumaki, I mentioned I was gonna do Fubuki and then three years passed. I am really bad about that, lol. I'm too scatterbrained and just jump from thing to thing way too quickly. And I still can't fully promise when it'll happen, but at least I've got thing ready to go whenever I can, now. And then there's the elephant in the room. Genshin Impact. Despite the set and the sheer number of characters that game has, I don't actually have too many characters from it that I really like. Arlecchino was a hit for me, and then there's a few others.

Mavuika definitely tickles my brain a bit. And there are some others that I haven't actually rigged yet, but I will admit it's not a huge interest for me. Instead, I ended up swinging over to ZZZ.

It's actually somewhat funny, because I honestly didn't have much interest in ZZZ. But after starting the April Fool's stuff back in January, I started looking at all the Hoyo games and its characters, and ended up fucking around with Zhu Yuan. Who is my favorite of the bunch, but I ended up liking more characters as I fucked around.

And I ended up actually playing it, and unlike Genshin and HSR - which I tried when they first came out and gave up after like, ten minutes - I actually kept playing it. Something about it vibed with me more than the others. Might be the semi-Persona vibes I get from it, might be the Cyberpunkish setting. Dunno, but it's fairly fun, if a bit simple.

I've also just been having fun rigging and posing random shit. Which is what typically happens when I'm drawing blanks on what to do or animate. It's cathartic, and good stress relief.

And at this point, I've just kinda run out of things to talk about. Haven't been in the rambliest of moods, I get like that sometimes. Brain drain and all that. But anyway, I'll wrap it up here.
