It is very difficult to know what goes on inside the head of a person (or ex-person) who has been immobile and paralyzed, eternally beautiful, while feeling a great flow of pleasure running through every cell of their body for so long. This knowledge is particularly elusive for those who have not shared the same fate. After many years, being turned into a doll has become somewhat normalized, and for some, it has even become an object of study. The process of transformation into a doll has been prevalent for the past 12 years since the fateful event that almost plunged the world into chaos—the public discovery of a fuchsia liquid capable of mutating blood, replacing it, and transforming people into various types of dolls by altering their physical attributes. Sometimes, this transformation also involves body shrinking, but not always.
Although being turned into a doll has become a normalized choice for some individuals seeking to transcend their mundane and tragic lives, there are certain dolls, particularly figurines, that hold immense value in the market. These figurines were the first victims—those who were involuntarily or voluntarily transformed into dolls before the public discovery of the fuchsia liquid and the ensuing chaos it caused. These figurines are not mass-produced according to any standard; each one possesses specific characteristics and peculiarities. Moreover, studying the minds of these first victims and first dolls, whether they have eroded over time or if there are any side effects of the fuchsia liquid, is of particular interest to researchers.
Caitlin, a 38-year-old woman with brown hair and dark red eyes, believes that she and her husband Ryan, an orange/red-haired man of the same age, purchased one of these early figurines approximately 12 years ago. Caitlin ponders the doll's realism, which was uncommon among most dolls at that time. The purchase occurred around the time of the scandal caused by the discovery of the fuchsia liquid. The figurine has striking green hair and grayish-green eyes that seem to gaze into infinity. Its expression is devoid of emotion and its pupils dilated. Caitlin and Ryan have noticed that the doll occasionally vibrates and blushes in a peculiar manner, especially when caressed.
Caitlin needs to decide what to do with the doll, especially since she and her husband, Ryan, have little time to take care of it and give it attention. They believe that, if the doll was possibly once a person, it deserves more attention to prevent it from getting bored. Therefore, Caitlin must choose between giving it to a scientific institute for study or giving it to her 12-year-old daughter, Enya. Enya has orange hair and dark red eyes that occasionally emit a strange, intense red glow, particularly when she is angry. Since birth, Enya has displayed an unusual personality, which leads her parents to question if she has a specific psychological condition. Most of the time, she is expressionless and contemplative of nature and her surroundings. However, when Enya discovers something she genuinely enjoys, she becomes incredibly cheerful, enthusiastic, and talkative. This confuses Caitlin and Ryan because while Enya behaves in an overly mature and unexpressive manner most of the time (which they do not consider bad), she also exhibits abnormally childish behavior when she forms an emotional connection with something.
Lately, Ryan has been traveling extensively for work, so he is not at home to participate in the decision. Caitlin contemplates sending the doll to a scientific lab, where it will be in good hands, particularly if it was once a person. This decision would also protect it from their son, Darren, who has orange/red hair like his father and tends to be destructive and careless with the decorations in their home. However, Caitlin is unsure how Ryan would react if she donates the doll to a scientific institution. Ryan sees the doll as a special object due to the numerous adventures and sexual games they have shared with it.
Ultimately, Caitlin decides to give the green-haired doll to Enya. Enya is captivated by dolls, and dealing with such a vibrant doll will likely make her extremely enthusiastic, happy, and preoccupied. This will allow Caitlin to devote more attention to her troubled and violent 18-year-old son, Darren, who lacks affection. Caitlin questions whether it was a mistake to leave Darren in daycare at a young age while she and Ryan engaged in sexual activities with the green-haired doll. They also suspect that Darren is smoking and drinking, despite being underage (though he may have obtained a fake ID). Since Darren frequently threatens to leave home, Caitlin believes it is best to distract Enya with the doll for a few days to focus on her son.

Finally, a few days later, Enya joyfully receives the green-haired doll that her parents had cherished so much, motivating her and bringing her immense happiness that reveals a strange red glow in her eyes once again. Enya had been eyeing the doll for a while, but its placement on a high shelf had prevented her from accessing it, even when she attempted to climb a chair. Therefore, the opportunity to play with the doll feels like a treasure to Enya now that her parents have granted her permission. Enya's obsession with the doll is so intense that she occasionally believes she hears it speaking in her mind, although its words seem nonsensical or muffled when she caresses it—though she recognizes these experiences as figments of her imagination. Furthermore, Enya's vivid imagination and infatuation with dolls often lead her to perceive faint sounds or movements emanating from them. She occasionally dreams about dolls and, on rare occasions, even envisions people transforming into dolls, particularly the remarkably lifelike and exorbitantly priced dolls she has encountered for sale.
However, Enya's luck takes a turn for the worse due to her careless sprint through the house towards her room. Inevitably, she stumbles and unintentionally topples the doll, causing it to crash heavily onto the floor and strike her head.
Concerned, Enya approaches the fallen doll to assess any damage, considering the fragility of its material. However, she discovers something even more astonishing upon grasping the doll in her hand.
For some unknown reason, the doll with green hair begins to move in a state of confusion while gently touching her own head. She had experienced a severe concussion that, although it didn't result in her demise, caused some of her long-forgotten memories to resurface. Consequently, the doll now finds herself in a completely different reality from the one in which she was reprogrammed and had lost her memories. Uncertain about the amount of time that has passed, she observes her current owner, a young girl, and entertains the possibility of persuading her to offer assistance.
The doll then attempts to narrate her story to the girl, expressing herself through Enya's voice. Enya, only partially comprehending the doll's explanation, initially reacts with surprise. Is she experiencing a dream or witnessing the fulfillment of a dream where dolls can speak and be seen clearly? Despite the dubious and peculiar nature of the doll's tale, Enya becomes elated, for she will finally have a talking companion—a doll she can play with whenever she pleases. This reaction alarms and distresses the green-haired doll, as she witnesses Enya's nonchalant response to the situation. Unfortunate as it may be, it seems that the girl still possesses an immature and childlike mindset, making it difficult for the doll to convey her story or recall her life as a human in a coherent manner.
[Drawing 2]
The girl, in contrast to giving importance to the doll's speech, feels great anguish as she hears the doll speak. She considers finding a way to alleviate that anguish and prepares to help the doll regain a peaceful, loving, and pleasurable existence. She takes the doll to her room and places a red velvet pillow in the drawer next to her bed as a resting place for the doll.
Afterward, Enya retrieves a little white dress and carefully and delicately changes the doll's clothes. She ensures that the doll is fully adorned in a pure and deep white-colored dress, with a white rose embellishing the ribbon on her head. Meanwhile, the bewildered doll finds herself in a pleasant and comfortable situation and decides to allow herself to be carried away by the moment. She accepts the embrace of a teddy bear, knowing that nothing will change anytime soon.
[Drawing 3]
Finally, as the days passed, the doll comfortably reassumed her place and stopped talking most of the time, allowing herself to be pampered by the girl's attentive caresses while resting on her velvet pillow. It seems that, regardless of everything and against all odds, perhaps the doll can still experience a peaceful life of happiness, or so she thought, until one day an unexpected visitor appeared from the other side of the door in Enya's room - her terrible brother, Darren.

Doll Lost In Time
I. Role Change
Written by “Ina Izumi”
Darren, a boy who has experienced a life filled with violence outside the home and a lack of love due to his parents' inattention, has been leading a busy life recently. Over the past three years, he has been engaging in a debauched lifestyle of constant partying and drinking. Now, his mother keeps a constant watch on him and restricts him from leaving the house. Despite her persistent attempts to communicate with him and guide him onto a better path, Darren's mother has not been successful. This situation has been ongoing for several days in Darren's life.
Despite the poor decisions he has made recently and the negative influence of his friends, Darren is typically perceptive and intelligent. He wonders how his mother suddenly has so much time to bother him, considering she usually dedicates more time to taking care of his younger sister, Enya. He assumes that his mother must be finding alternative ways to keep Enya occupied, allowing her to focus on him. Intrigued, Darren decides to investigate what has been keeping Enya so occupied.
Furthermore, Darren holds a grudge against Enya's existence, although he does not blame her for anything specific. Ever since Enya was born, his parents' attention shifted entirely towards her, neglecting Darren since his early childhood. Their time was divided between caring for Enya, engaging in inappropriate activities with a green-haired doll, and attending to their usual responsibilities, leaving Darren marginalized and ignored within his own family.
One day, while entering Enya's room, Darren notices her playing happily with the precious doll. This sight triggers his deep-seated hatred towards the doll and prompts him to contemplate seeking revenge. Darren believes that teaching his sister a lesson about the harsh realities of life, beyond playtime and pleasant things, might be beneficial. He thinks she should become accustomed to experiencing pain, even losing something as precious as the doll. Determined, Darren returns to his room, retrieves his favorite baseball bat, and sets off to Enya's room to break the doll with green hair.
Confident and reminded of years of neglect that stemmed from the doll's introduction, Darren raises his bat in front of his sister. He notices an unusual glow in the doll's eyes, giving it an eerie semblance of life. Meanwhile, Enya, shocked and frozen with fear, watches her brother about to destroy her cherished green-haired doll—their family's unique treasure.
That's when Enya, filled with courage and anger at her brother's audacity, raises her arm towards Darren, wringing tears of grief over her situation and crying, "D-don't do it! Don't!!!" Her eyes project a deep red light, revealing the purest part of her soul. A few seconds later, Darren is turned to by Enya, as a blinding white light (seemingly emanating from Enya's hands) quickly engulfs him, leaving him with no way to react or respond promptly.
After a few minutes, Darren returns to consciousness, bewildered and frightened, looking around and not fully comprehending what is happening. Then, a giant hand appears in front of him and strokes his hair, which has grown significantly longer. Darren tries unsuccessfully to defend himself from the grasping motion of the spinning hand due to the immense size difference, ultimately being captured and subject to its gentle touch. Amidst the commotion, Darren finally spots a familiar face in his surroundings—Enya's face, all too familiar indeed.
Enya, engrossed in her childish mind and unaware of the true nature of the events unfolding, allows herself to be carried away by the new circumstances. In her perception, Darren attempted to harm her precious green-haired doll—a doll that can also talk and move, albeit sporadically. Therefore, Darren must suffer an exemplary punishment. What if Darren experiences life as a doll from now on? A doll filled with pleasure, perfection, and vulnerability. Executing this plan seems effortless, particularly since Darren has shrunk in size after being exposed to the ray of light emanating from Enya's hand. Both of them are so bewildered by the situation that they question whether they are awake or trapped in a dream. Regardless, Enya, driven by curiosity and a desire to play, would not miss the chance to punish Darren in the manner she deems most suitable.
[Drawing 5]
However, there is a small structural issue that prevents Enya from turning Darren into a helpless little doll. His body is so uncute and masculine that it clashes with Enya's desired vision for Darren's new life. Therefore, if she accidentally shrinks Darren during a heated argument, she believes that by taking a chance, she can alter Darren's physical appearance beyond mere diminishment, aiming for a more ideal body shape. Enya points her hand at him, envisioning what she believes will be Darren's improved form.
To Enya's surprise, Darren's body begins to transform gradually at first, but then more noticeably. Darren observes his hair growing longer and longer. Previously, his untidy and unkempt hair obstructed his vision and gave off an intimidating vibe. Now, Darren witnesses his identity becoming diluted as his hair lengthens, resembling the beautiful, silky tresses of a fairy tale princess.
Furthermore, Darren notices his previously defined and masculine pectoral muscles expanding like a pair of inflating balloons until they transform into large, alluring female breasts. Astonished and bewildered by the situation, Darren even reaches out to touch his newfound breasts, seizing the opportunity to experience a sensation he had never felt before. Lastly, as Darren's legs, arms, and overall complexion become more delicate, his hips become significantly accentuated.
[Drawing 6]
Finally, as Darren, now called Dairene, plays with her new breasts, Enya searches for the perfect outfit to match her new lifestyle among the figurine clothes she has saved. After some searching, she finds the ideal outfit to accentuate Darren's newfound femininity. Despite her desire for something daring and sexy, Enya, still a child, couldn't find anything quite so audacious due to the doll dresses and toys her mother buys her, which are appropriate for her age. However, she does come across an adorable and cuddly dress—a magical princess girl cosplay from a series her parents watched as children, even though she is unfamiliar with it. The dress features shades of reddish, pastel pink, and fuchsia—colors that Enya particularly enjoys. She believes this dress will complement Dairene's hair and aid her in rediscovering herself and her femininity. But before that, Enya carefully selects lingerie to wear underneath the dress, a process that greatly embarrasses Dairene and causes her to blush uncontrollably.
[Drawing 7]
On the other hand, Enya wonders if she can further facilitate Dairene's reintegration into society (as a doll, as a toy, as an object) in some way. She wonders if a suggestion, as she saw happening strangely in her dreams, will do the trick. Then, as she begins to immerse him deeply in trance and strokes his hair, Enya looks into Dairene's eyes and soothes his spirits. Taking advantage of Dairene's guard being down, she plays with her breasts. After capturing Dairene's attention deeply, Enya asks, "What if he, like Darren, could abandon that decadent life in which he only hurts others and himself?" Enya states that Darren was like that because society failed him and corrupted him into a being full of anger and pain. It led to an endless cycle of harm to others and himself. Now, as Dairene, Enya proposes a new opportunity to fill other people with happiness, just as Enya herself, turned into his doll. At the same time, Dairene can receive all the love and attention he never received as Darren. Enya continues, "Love, attention, to be treasured and played with, to be cared for and caressed all the time." As she caresses the doll's back and hips, Enya says, "Falling again and again into a deep trance, deeper and deeper, like a bottomless barrel, more and more, until her mind was completely blank, just drowned in eternal ecstasy." This is how Dairene's mind became lost in an ever-deepening trance as she assumed her new place in existence as a little doll, a figurine ready to be cared for and treasured by Enya and her parents, her new owners. Dairene, formerly Darren, but no longer Darren, is now an object, a toy without a mind, for dolls don't think. Dolls are mindless.
Finally, days after Darren's disappearance, his parents Caitlin and Ryan, who quickly returned from his work trip upon learning that their son was missing, give up the search for him. After all, Darren had threatened several times to leave the house. Judging by the last argument Caitlin and Darren had, it is likely that Darren finally ran away from home. Well, being of age, Darren is now the master of his own destiny and doesn't want to be found. Ryan remembers leaving his parents' home in a similar situation. They just hope Darren is okay and can develop a new life on his own.
Meanwhile, Caitlin and Ryan, setting Darren's situation aside, are ecstatic that Enya has learned how to make online purchases. Her first acquisition, as she proudly declares, is a stunning figurine of a magical princess from one of her beloved childhood series. The doll exudes such beauty and perfection that Caitlin and Ryan, deciding that Enya must safeguard it as a cherished heirloom, shift their focus entirely to the new addition. They place it on the mantel in the main room, where the green-haired doll used to reside. At one point, Caitlin entertains the wild notion that Darren has somehow transformed into this adorable doll, given the faint resemblance, particularly in the hair color. Nevertheless, it is highly unlikely, as no individual could accomplish such a feat without advanced technology or resources.
Regardless, Caitlin and Ryan are thrilled with their latest acquisition, while Enya grapples with mastering her newfound abilities and experiences a growing sense of peculiarity. She feels as if her mind is gradually reawakening memories of a similar situation from the past, even though Enya herself has never encountered it. Could these be recollections of a past life? Enya wonders.
