Lya, who has been unemployed for several months now, has been spending her savings in all that time to survive even though it's not long before it runs out, so she is looking for work more and more desperately. That day she has an interview at a maid cafe that is relatively close to her house, a business that has just opened relatively recently in which, Lya thinks, maybe she can find a job opportunity, something that would be very convenient for her since that business is just two blocks away from Lya's house, and it would be very convenient for her not only to find a job soon, but also that the job she finds turns out to be so close to her house to avoid the long lines of traffic when she has to travel long distances. In addition, this business, a maid cafe, offers a great deal of oversized pay for what a business of its type should really buy. Even though the maid café where Lya aspires to work is very close, Lya hurries to leave home as soon as possible to get to the place a couple of hours earlier to get to know it better, plus that could help Lya to make a good impression for that potential job offer, since it would show how punctual she is and Lya thinks that would be something in her favor that the maid café could take into account, Lya even thinks that she could aspire to the management of the maid cafe in the long term since, due to the proximity that the maid cafe has from her home, she could open the business every day, although to a certain extent those aspirations are some crazy ideas of Lya's since she hasn't even been hired in that job yet. Later, minutes later, Lya finds herself in front of the maid cafe, carefully observing its façade in order to get to know the place well. It seems to be a quiet place, with little customer traffic and surely any job inside the maid cafe will turn out to be quite peaceful... Once Lya is inside the place, a maid with a suspicious appearance welcomes her, even though Lya does not seem to remember clearly who is that woman with white hair and deep yellow eyes that seem to look into the depths of her soul with a lascivious eagerness. [Drawing 1] Then that maid, who seems to be the boss of the place, guides Lya through the maid cafe, a place with an interior architecture with a Victorian touch even if slightly modern, a quiet place to have a coffee without being bothered or annoyed by anyone. Then that yellow-eyed woman takes Lya to her office and they both sit down in front of the desk, the yellow-eyed woman in the boss's place, and Lya at the other end of the desk, to start the job interview. The suspicious woman first asks Lya if she is single. Lya, a bit puzzled, answers that she is single, but not without asking herself deeply: why do they ask to be single in a place like this as a condition to get the job? Lya is left with many doubts about it, even though she keeps this doubt to herself for now. This is how the yellow-eyed woman tells Lya that, being so, it seems that Lya at first glance has everything the maid cafe needs for the position they are looking to fill, that of "bouncer", and that the only thing the pretty girl who occupies this position should do is to welcome new customers while preventing the entry of people who seem problematic or when the maid cafe is full. Lya, impressed with the ease with which she has been hired, agrees to be the Bouncer of the place and that is how her new boss, the yellow-eyed woman, who has a very cheerful and optimistic attitude, gives her a uniform and tells her that she can start right then and there if Lya wishes. Lya is very impressed by the situation, especially by the speed of the circumstances, even though she tries not to think too much and takes the uniform to go and put it on in the bathroom of the cafe. Now everything is solved for Lya again, because she has a job that apparently is very easy to do for a great pay and very close to her home, everything having been organized perfectly for her, in such a suspicious way that makes Lya wonder: can you really be so lucky, being quite suspicious that everything is solved for Lya in just a few days, although she prefers not to think too much about it. [Drawing 2] Finally, Lya, after dressing up in the maid outfit, does her job most of the day without any inconvenience. Life is so easy and light for her that now she only has to fulfill few responsibilities in exchange for an affordable pay, and so the next few days passed for Lya, until one day her boss, who seems more cheerful than usual, invites her to go to her office, even if she will have to leave the entrance of the maid café alone during that time. Somehow, her boss, that yellow-eyed maid, is waiting for her, looking at her with eyes of desire, as if she is about to assault her prey. It is then that Lya wonders if her boss is planning to fire her or what is going on, even though the boss, seeing Lya's worried face, tells her that there is nothing to worry about and says that, on the contrary, perhaps her plans for Lya mean more of a kind of "promotion", so to speak, something that makes Lya very happy. Then the boss opens a door to a dark place and invites Lya in, to which Lya responds by entering that room without much care, only feeling worried when her boss closes the door behind Lya, locking it. Lya, curious about what is in that place, expecting the boss to enter at any moment even if somewhat thoughtful about her suspicious behavior, wanders around the place until she stops in a kind of circular hole surrounded by the floor and isolated by a circular platform in the middle of the hole. [Drawing 3] Then Lya's suspicions about the abnormality of the situation turn out to be true, although it is too late for her to notice it, since a kind of... soap bubble? It emerges from that circular hole, trapping her, leaving her enclosed in a bubble so resistant that it moves Lya away from the ground and starts to consume her slowly, something that terrifies Lya, who tries to resist as much as she can until everything ends in a cold silence, while Lya, who is now a balloon with her own being printed on it, floats carelessly looking outside the balloon with a look full of curiosity but surprise at the same time, being trapped in her new and inflated plastic prison for a long time more. [Drawing 4] Finally, the balloon that Lya was turned into is now surrounded by more balloons like it, who may have been people in the past, as it waits patiently (not that it can do anything) floating for someone to play with it or do something with it. With that out of the way, the boss, who turns out to be Machiko, grabs the balloon and takes it home, having many dark ideas of what to do to play with said balloon. [Drawing 5]
