I partially agree. I do like when the artist stays with the original character attributes and nature. So if this girl is meant to be full dom, then I wouldn't really want her to play submissive. It'd be different if she was dom lean only, or switch. One reason why I value this so much is because my favourite character is drawn and animated wrong in most artworks and videos. It makes me sad so many times when the Artists do not value the nature of the character...
