1. Yeah, this special is an Anime original. 2. Actually Kayneth was right, the Pedigree is everything for mages. Mahoutsukai no Yoru (Witch on the Holy Night) was originally a novel Kinoko Nasu wrote in 1996. His actual first novel ever. And is the beginning of all the Nasuverse. This novel was never published but it was remaked into a Visual Novel by the same name. Since there are 2 weeks left until you jump into another series I need to start with the Garden of Sinner propaganda. If you like lore, mystery and Fate/stay night, this is the work for you. The Garden of Sinner is another of the main works of Kinoko Nasu just like Fate/stay night, Witch on the Holy Night and Tsukihime. Since you liked FSN you will love The Garden of Sinners. So consider watching it after Today's Menú.

Touko Aozaki is the older sister to Aoko Aozaki, the protagonist of Witch on the Holy Night/Mahoutsukai no Yoru. Touko is also a central character in Garden of Sinners.

Also, if you haven't noticed, in Fate/Grand Order, after defeating Solomon, Fujimaru is given the "Fes" rank title. You can see it in the friend list of the game, as any player that has completed part 1 has a golden 4-point star next to their name.

The sequel novel series, The Adventures of Lord El-Melloi II, acts as a "direct" sequel to FSN. Not to spoil, but the cameos in it are on another level! Hopefully, it will get an anime adaptation too!
