I love the series for the characters... no one of the cast is extraneous nor have any overlapping virtues nor vices. Writing as a heterosexual male, every imaginable desirable female is here, all in wonderous varieties of beauty. I imagine the same can be said of the males. Kaylee's talking and I have a crush on her; the same with Inara, Zoe, and River... as different as they are amazing. How humans can settle for one human to make our intimate companion to the exclusion of others astounds me. Firefly's crew represents all humanity (at least the humans I want to know).
