Morning Folks! We hope you had a wonderful weekend ❤️❤️❤️
This week's movie marks the end of spooky season. We both absolutely loved the first Rocky movie, so we were really excited to see this one, and it didn't let us down! It had everything we wanted out of a Rocky movie - great characters, a touching story, a motivational training montage, and of course a grand fight! Thank you again for voting for us to watch it... we loved it!

This is my personal favorite Rocky movie. I think it's better than the first, or at the very least on par with it. I hope you continue with the franchise. A few other sports movie suggestions - Cinderella Man (starring Russell Crowe, based on the true story of boxer Jimmy Braddock. I cannot possibly sing enough praise of this film.) - Major League (90's baseball comedy starring Wesley Snipes and a Charlie Sheen.) - The Mighty Ducks (Disney family film starring Emilio Estevez and several other young notable stars. An actual NHL team took their name from this movie) - Radio (Based on the true story of a disabled man who becomes a beloved cornerstone of a small town HS football team) - Vision Quest (One of the few amateur wrestling related sports films. Excellent little 80's teen drama) - A League Of Their Own (Starring Tom Hanks. Comedy/drama inspired by the first ever American Girls Professional Baseball League during WW2). - Mystery Alaska (Drama/Comedy about a small town in Alaska. Stars Russell Crowe.)

Just the distraction I needed from all the election talks.

It's weird. So many movies Tony the local boss would swindle Rocky. In these movies he's super sweet to Rocky. When Rocky gets a date he gives him money so he can have a good time. When Rocky gets the fight he supports him, gives him money for training, sits ringside, cheers him on. In this movie he's at his wedding and offering him what seems like reasonable advice for investing his money. He's obviously a "bad" guy and breaks people's thumbs if they don't pay up but he is a good friend to Rocky through and through.

Watching along with the full reaction now. You requested some Stallone films as well. Here you go... - Tango & Cash - Copland - Cliffhanger - Judge Dredd
