This episode answers the question that everyone has when they walk by a vacuum store: "How does that place stay in business?"

The theme song at the end is chef's kiss! I lowkey still hold a grudge with the writters for Andrea's death, I get it but it hurt!

Andrea's death always hurts no matter how many times I see it. There's just something extra fucked about an entirely innocent person being killed so matter of factly.

The previous batch that Jesse had made was 92%. That was ready to be shipped. When Todd gave Jesse the ice cream they must've just finished another batch, which was 96%. He wasn't lying to Lydia to entice her in more. At least I've never read it that way. Jesse Plemons, who plays Todd, brings such a weird vibe to the character. It's so good. He's friendly, obedient, is not hungry for violence but yet has no problem killing an innocent girl because he sorta has to. "just so you know this isn't personal" and "goodnight, Jesse" are such crazy things to say to 1 person he's about to execute and another he has held captive. Also must be weird to call a character by your actual name lol. A fun (and emotional) little fact, a terminally ill super fan met with Vince Gilligan, who asked him what he'd like to see before the end as they were still in the writing process for S5b. The boy, Kevin, said he'd like to know what's going on with Gretchen & Elliot as he felt that was still unresolved. The writers liked the idea so much they added them into the story here. They offered to show Kevin the last episodes early but he refused as he wanted to experience them with everyone else. Sadly he passed away before S5b was released. They dedicated S5E9 to him.

I cannot believe how perfect the closing song is as the prelude to the finale- when that Epic theme begins to play as Gretchen is addressing Walt... "the sweet, kind, brilliant man that we once knew long ago, he's gone". The metamorphosis is one episode away from completion! It still gives me goosebumps even after watching it dozens & dozens of times. This is it. It's all coming to an end. I just. This scene makes me feel so much. It gives you this feeling of excitement over how perfectly brilliant it is. But it also makes you emotional just knowing that it's all about to be over for good. I will never forget this scene. This whole show for that matter. It really is something special- a once in a lifetime experience.
