Hey Everyone!
We've had so many of you recommend this movie, so we're really excited we finally got to watch it! We both love sci-fi, so of course we loved it - and the added bonus of a videogame element made it just that much better. Thank you everyone who suggested this movie!! We hadn't even heard of it before you folks ❤️

You wonderful Canadian nerds! I grew up with this. It was the next stage in computer animation after TRON. You guys remind me of me and my best friend. Chandra is a dead ringer for my friend Jen.

This reaction video was everything I hoped it would be. I'm so glad you guys had a blast. The 1980s were a magical time for movies for romantic geeks like you both. I'm so glad I subscribed after your BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA reaction.

Haven't watched this movie since I was a kid. I love that the message of this movie is basically "You don't need college, just practice your video games!" As far as I know, they never made a game of this movie, much the the chagrin of us who grew up with it.

Oh man this is great! Thank you guys! Just something about the late 70s-80s scifi and horror movies, all obviously filmed in California like E.T., Close Encounters, Lost Boys, and this, all have a specific look that I find so endearing. Another really great scifi film from around this era is Enemy Mine. It stars Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr.

If the viewer(s) watched the film The Music Man before watching this, then Robert Preston’s character becomes even more delightful.
