Hey Everyone, It's comedy time!
This movie was soooo much fun. I feel like we've been watching less comedies lately, so this was really refreshing. It makes me want to watch more - specifically 80's comedies... with action too! If you've got other favourites, let us know ❤️

"Are those outfits you would just wear?" The leather jacket/pants combo were something Michael Jackson did wear back then. More importantly and the inside joke in the movie is Eddie Murphy wore a red leather outfit in his stand-up special Delirious (and a few years later, his next special RAW). So Eddie laughing at the outfit on the guys walking past, was a joke on Eddie 😂

You guys made me buy BEVERLY HILLS COP on Amazon because it was that great watching it as a teenager. Eddie Murphy was a cool comedic god coming off of Saturday Night Live. The story and the epic soundtrack made this THE Movie of the year. Your fans love your wholesome reactions.

I left this in the YouTube chat, but "Intimidation checks?!?" The sexy nerd is strong in this one. Please stay married forever!

I just got finished watching this with you guys. I feel like a kid again. I was so pumped with all of the fun you felt. You guys have a great channel.

Not your usual, but he did release a couple of his standups as movies, the first on HBO and the second as an actual theatrical release. Eddie Murphy Delirious, the first one, was a cultural phenomenon. Again, not your usual but you should watch it. Another I'd suggest is the 1998 release Saturday Night Live: The Best of Eddie Murphy. These were things that made him a megastar. As far as actual movies, Trading Places, this one, 48 Hours, and Coming to America are his classics. Bowfinger from 1999 also has its fans, and despite the low rating I have a soft spot for The Golden Child.

Comedy you say… then Monty Python’s - Life of Brian is a must. And “A Fish Called Wanda” too… with Michael Palin and John Cleese from Monty Python.

Oooo we love Saturday Night Live! I'm really curious to see all of these, thank you for the recommendations!

Ooooh, Okay I figured I was missing something! I always love when actors can poke fun at themselves ❤️

Me too, I'm with you on "The Golden Child". And it has the bonus of seeing a much younger Charles Dance working on his villain chops, well before most of us even knew Tywin Lannister existed.

I had to laugh when you said that Taggart and Rosewood were talking like a married couple. Supposedly, they were directed to improvise those conversations in the car in the character of a married couple.

Axel Foley is an amazing character! I feel like Taggart and Rosewood are an alternative version of Murtagh and Riggs so the dynamic of them was fun. You definitely need to watch the sequel!
