And what better way to spend a few hours than watching one of the best movies ever!! Omg, I am sooooo happy you all voted for us to watch this one, because wow... everything about it was just perfect. And Matt Damon is beyond good in it. This is definitely the kind of movie you want to have on your shelf so you can watch it like every year haha

Just finished watching. Glad you guys enjoyed!! I love how hopeful and optimistic this movie is. If you’re looking for a good book recommendation, besides The Martian, Project Hail Mary is by the same author and I liked it even more than The Martian. The basic premise is an astronaut wakes up alone in a spaceship with amnesia and has to figure out what his mission is and how to survive.

Such a personal favorite. Don't tell me Hollywood is out of ideas and can only make sequels while they're still making movies like this. It can be done!

I really recommend reading the book. It goes into much more detail of Mark working the problem. It's clever, it's very funny, and it's something I read at least once a year. I'd actually recommend getting the audiobook of it. The current release is narrated by Wil Wheaton, and he's got the nerd cred to make the book work well. It's not super long, and it's amazing.
