We're gonna get MORE WOLVERINE!

He's definitely one of my most favorites of the X-Men, so I'm crazy excited to learn more about him. I don't remember everything from the animated series about his past, so I'm curious to see what sorts of things they keep and change in all of these X-Men movies!

I really like this one, minus the end fight. It's cheesy, awesome comicbook action and I really like the characters. You can totally see the brainchild of Ryan Reynolds Deadpool in this for sure. I did forget how bad some of the cgi was in this, especially the green screen. I know it was a while ago , but sheesh, they look like they forgot to do the final detail pass with the vfx team.

I liked this movie for what it was and what it attempted to do, but I initially had the same reaction as a lot of other fans of the comics. I read Wolvie's origin story in the official comics, so I didn't like how they changed it. I prefer to think of this storyline as an "alternate universe" history, what could have happened. Thankfully, a later movie does a corrrection (I'm not saying what, because spoilers), and we also have the more official Deadpool movie.

Before I forget, here's an example of lazy writing: when this movie came out, I'm pretty sure the medical community facepalmed at the writers using a real world drug, hydrochlorothiazide, to slow a heart rate down to less than a beat a minute, when the drug definitely doesn't do that. I'm a pharmacy tech and I cringe every time I see this part in the movie. 🤣
