Happy Saturday!

It's not a Holiday movie, but the snowy Toronto backdrop definitely feels Christmassy! WOW where to start with this one. Unbelievable cast? ✅ Killer soundtrack? ✅ Whip fast comedy and pacing? ✅ Wildly unique action? ✅ Video game references for days? ✅ I'm sure there's like 8 other questions I could ask and put a check mark beside, but suffice to say we had a great time watching this movie, we hope you will too!

Edgar Wright kinda killed it with this movie. You can see his style all over it but I am glad he didn't start repeating himself after this. The only film of his I don;t enjoy is Baby Driver and even that is still a good watch. On an unrelated note my YT Recap told me I am in the top 0.1% of your viewers and watched 214 videos on your channel. Outside is overrated anyways, keep em coming.

Is this one of the top 10 films ever made? Maybe not. Is it one of the top 10 best-directed films ever made? I'm afraid I might have to say, "Yes". If someone were to ask me, "What does a director actually DO?", this is the film I would show them. It is a collaborative environment, certainly, but something like this almost never happens without a singular, complete vision. There's no way to make this movie without planning out the logistics of every single shot WAY in advance. It's like the editing of every single shot was written into the screenplay. So amazing!
