Hi Everyone!

Stargate was 1 of 2 movies to win our 'Second Chance' poll, and I'm so glad it did! It's such a great premise and it really delivers on it. The cast is also awesome, and it's just an all around fun time! I also loved the way it tied into ancient Egypt.

I can see why they made a show afterwards, it seems like there's so much more they can explore. The show is definitely on our radar now!

Watching Jackson's first time through the Stargate reminds me of the Stephen King short story The Jaunt.

Stargate SG-1 is also an amazing show and definitely worth watching, in fact all 3 Stargate TV shows are worth watching, although Stargate: Universe is a bit...different, it is still goo in its own way. Yes that is a total of 17 Seasons and well over 300 episodes for the franchise but very few people react to it and it is my favorite Sci-Fi TV show from the late 90s to early 2000s. They did change a few things from the movie to work better in a TV show setting but I thought what they kept and what they changed worked well with the show and it is a continuation from the movie and a good saying about the two is that the show treats everything from the movie canon until it doesn't. I don't really expect many reactors to tackle this franchise but it would be amazing if more would. I would definitely love to watch you guys react to it if you ever do and I would definitely be here for that. Loved this reaction also. One of my favorite Sci-Fi movies also.
