I just couldn't take it any more. I'm a perfectionist, and I couldn't just leave it alone.

I hired an animator to completely pull apart and rebuild the animation and all its files, and we finally figured out - for real this time - why Spider Spawner was crashing the game.

Expect a full and complete fix in 1.56 soon :)

What was the root cause then?

If a skeleton used Inverse Kinematics during a transition from captor_empty to captor_full then it would crash if the skeleton was not named _full appropriately in Spine -- it wasn't enough to rename the files after export, the hash code in the .skel file had to properly represent the name too.

So it was a missing file extension in the .skel file, huh? Damn, all the pain and it was one single line.

Not even a file extension - the skeleton name itself had to have _full or it'd crash! Madness!

I'm doing just fine! A good portion of my time working on LLE is spent waiting for art and animation assets to be finished by the folks I've hired, so I get my time off.
