Oo, these are fun. The writing on the walls is a great touch.

So is darkest dungeon set in the steam age? I always thought its 17 to early 18th century, since the musketeer is the valid proof. Jumping in tech eras might be a bit difficult to introduce in the already existing setting. Obviously not trying to be rude, but that is some food for thought, or maybe im overthinking immersion.
