Let's see how I did... (Patreon)

So, 2025 is going well so far! The 1.6 Goblin Invasion update was super awesome and warmly received - which I love y'all for. No notes there.

So how about all those promises I made about the Lust in the Dark update? Let's revisit those shall we!

Successes:

• Roaming Minibosses were reworked with all the rest of the spawn tables

• The Shambler was successfully lewdified + reworked

• Crimson Court was expanded with 2 new enemies to add some extra NSFW spice

• More hero skins were, added, most notably...

• Abomination, who was reworked entirely on top and got new skins, skill icons, and had all of her dialogue changed to become the 'Hellslut'.

• We got two new trinkets, one for the Shambler, one for the new crimson curse enemies

• We finally got a solve for the long-standing issue with captor enemies dying improperly to certain attacks like DoTs and ripostes. Now that we know it works with the Crimson enemies, I can start applying those fixes backward to all the old capture enemies I put in the game!

Sorta Successes:

• '4 new enemies'. This one is a sorta success. If you look at the backend I've added:

  • crimson_cockrider_full

  • crimson_cocksucker

  • crimson_cocksucker_full

  • shambler_tentacle_full

  • shambler_tentacleb

  • shambler_tentacleb_full

  It's technically 7 new enemies according to the backend, but as far as what you guys see it's only really 3 new enemies? It's kind of annoying that for each captor enemy that is created I have to do 2 enemy's worth of work, but I'm happy to do it. Either way, hope you guys like it!

• 'Dark Mode'. I know there was a lot of hype for this one, but the law regarding nonconsent in adult material - even for entirely fictional girls in video games - got a lot frostier recently. I love working on LL:E, but not enough to do prison time for it. Fortunately, however, a brave soul who doesn't live in a place with terrible pornography laws has stepped forward and volunteered to create the Dark Mode patch themselves. I'll keep you availed of their progress as it happens!
