Hey everyone! With the Daughter's Best Friend story soon to be ending, I wanted to get a sense of your preferred story length for projects moving forward. This story was far longer than I was originally expecting, and I'm wondering how you all felt about that. I made a previous poll asking what sort of length you look for in these stories, but we have grown a lot since then, and I think we can use this story as a better metric. I wont be offended so please be honest! Most importantly however I just wanted to thank you all for your continued support, it truly means a lot to me 😊

I don’t care the length of the story as long as you still feel the inspiration to write it! It’s easy to tell when an author starts to force it and it’s hard to read at that point. But if the author enjoys what they’re writing it doesn’t matter if it’s 1 part or 50

I think it just depends on the story. This one was amazing so I didn’t really want it to ever end. You were also using 3 different models so it stayed fresh in that regard too.

As long as each part does something for the story/plot it could be 50 parts and I wouldn't care

Honestly the story should be as long as you can keep it hot and exciting. There needs to be an edge. I would prefer long stories there are able to stay white hot but if it essentially just becomes a couple texting with no real twist on it I would rather start with a new premise.

Current length is fine. As long as the content is there to support it. Artificially prolonging a story really does no favours to it. As long as the story that you want to tell can be supported properly without artifical extension or shortening, then it is fine.

Great length. Only disappointment is that Abby doesn’t post nudes so we never get that satisfaction.

Long stories are fine, but I do feel this ine started to drag a little. I also think you could help engagement by taking a break in a long story to work on a very short one.

Length is good. Just find models with proper nudes and make sure the photos look amateur to keep it believable

This story got me here so no real complaints lol. I even like how some are making story’s where the characters branch out into additional story lines like Avery Aces spy story. A good story will tell you when it’s time to end, listen to your thoughts and don’t try to make everyone else happy :)

I agree with some others, length was fine, but also wouldnt mind if it was less parts but each part was longer. Great reads regardless tho

Sorry for the late reply! I did have access to that content, and tried to offer additional compensation to the model to use some, but she wasn't comfortable with that which is totally fair.

Thanks so much everyone for your feedback, you gave me a lot to consider moving forward! I'm glad the pace of this story was good for most of you, and like the idea of breaking up future stories of similar length with the occasional one-shot to keep things fresh. I have also heard your comments about model selection and will do more pre-work moving forward to ensure I can get the kind of content we all want to see. Thanks again!!
