If you want to download the entire game 18GB, you need all those files. They contain data for the game.

S3 only takes saves from the end of S2 because Season 1 and 2 combine is very large. S3 is almost as big as a single season. So start a new game in S1 for Patreon, Steam, or GOG. Play that thru to end of Season 2 and import into Season 3.

yeah. this isn't working for me either. I have the game on steam. but i tried installing the whole game from here. however the downloads all "archive is corrupt". except for one. so, not sure what to do here.

V11.1 doesn't exist for Steam and you should not try to merge it with Steam installation or you will mess up both games and data files. If extracting gives you corruption errors. 1) If extract lists the corrupted file, delete it. 2) Clear you browser cache to ensure you don't redownload a gliched file from the cache instead of Patreon. 3) download the file again. Try to extract again. Note: do not use window's built in extract. Use winrar or 7zip. Come into discord if problems persists.

No. They are just data containers used by the .zip file to unzip. After you have extracted the game, you can either delete the zip and z01-9 files or store all of them at another location.

i personally think this method for downloading works way better, and seems to take less time compared to a mega (etc) download. looking forwards to playing a bit after i get home from the gym. awesome work DPC

Used 7Zip and it unpacked fine. Those of you having issues should probably delete the downloads and start over, one-by-one.. Packets can get screwy if you download multiples at a time. That being said... OMFG!!!! I'm not even through the first of what will probably be a hundred PT's on this episode, but.... OMFG!!! The story, the renders, the lighting.. Sage with her hair down... Masterful, DPC.. Just masterful. I'm soooo glad I didn't see this post last night, as I would've been up with a bottle of wine, a cigar and this addiction all damn night. Chef's kiss, my man.

I could not get it to play as well after downloading it, but if you copy/paste your game folder into your C:/, it works. If it is in a folder on your desktop or anywhere else, it won't—at least for me!

Tried both 7Zip and Winrar but files keep having errors. Don't get why we can't just stick to the old way of using Mega or google download. Getting Error Missing Ep 10 images.rpa finished unzip file won't launch at all. Update - I was able to finally get it to work after downloading all the files 3-4 times each until they finally able to unzip correctly without data errors. This is incredibly frustrating to do if all future releases are gonna be like this. It wasn't even a matter of using 7zip or Winrar it was how the files downloaded which is a roll of the dice every time.

That means that your download was corrupted. Delete the files and download again. And FYI, this error can happen just as easily with the other method.

PSA: you need to use the latest version of 7-zip. I had an older version from 2019, and it just complained "is not an archive" and refused to do anything with it. When I upgraded to the latest version it extracted everything without a hitch. If you're using Windows 10, DO NOT use the Windows extract-all command from the right-click context menu, it won't work (it will just complain "the same volume cannot be used as both the source and destination" and throw errors on every file it tries to copy). I have no idea if Windows 11 has the same problem. This could be because the file hierarchy inside BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin.zip is: [BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin] [BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin] [BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin] [game] [lib] [renpy] BeingADIK.exe BeingADIK.py BeingADIK.sh BeingADIK-32.exe icon.png Changelog.txt (I've enclosed folder names in brackets [] for clarity). In other words, the folder [BeingADIK-0.11.1-pc-lin] is included three times. Can't say if this was intentional... but regardless, the game runs! Enjoy, maggots!

Have to agree with you, have never had an issue with Mega downloads over multiple games from various devs. DPK was 1st adult game dev I ever played aa game from many years ago. Had to interrupt support due to finances a couple times but have always come back.

That might be an artifact how you extracted. There are two layers because DPC wanted the Changelog to be outside of the actual game install folder. Once all is extracted and verified, you can move the install folder where you wish. Above the attachment downloads, it lists that WinRAR or 7zip is required for extraction.

Do you mean winrar or 7-zip? Both are free software, you don't have to join or pay to use them at all. Click the winrar, then the download button to the right to download it. I've been using it for God knows how many years without any issues. Then click all the attachments, unzip the zip file with winrar, and play. It's that simple.

I just let 7-zip extract it using default settings. That's how they ended up. And yeah, I moved it to my games directory. And, I already had 7-zip, it was just an older version. The text above doesn't specify a version, nor does it warn that older versions won't work.

extracting the .zip will automatically pull from the .z0 files. After you successfully extract, the .zip and z0 files are no longer needed. Consider backing them up just in case.

The save transfer file is located here: %AppData%/RenPy/persistent/ It's named BeingADIKBeingADIKSeason2Transfer* When you want to continue playing in Season 3 you click IMPORT from the main menu. The saves should show up. If you're trying to import Steam saves, you need to toggle the Steam save button at the top of the screen.

So, Seasons 3 is standalone. You have to start with S Season 1/Season 2 from Patreon, Steam, or GOG.. You import saves from end of Season 2 into Season 3.

Right click each zip file at the time and check the size on disk. For the z01-09 files it should be: 1 887 436 800 byte For the zip file it should be: 1 638 506 496 byte If you see that any of those numbers differ, that's the corrupt file that you need to redownload to get unzipping to work for you.

Sounds like you unzipped using Windows native zip as opposed to either Winrar or 7-zip. Did you sort your issue?

Hi! It sounds like your "ep_interlude_images.rpa" might be damaged/corrupted. Can you unzip the game again and check that it works to unzip without errors? If it doesn't, you need to re-download the game to fix it.

Downloaded and extracted the game.It opens but when i try to continue from the end of one of my previous savings,in the first scene after 4 sentences it crashes.If i use import and try to continue from there episode 9 it crashes directly.I moved in the file that i extracted episode 11 episode 10 as i have done in the past with episode 9,10 and same result.I even moved the saves from episode 10 to episode 11 saves.It doesnt work

Correct, use WinRAR or 7zip on the .zip file (right-click and chose the tool you have on the context menu. It might be under show more options). The extract will automatically read from the z0 files. The end result will be the fully extracted game.

I am lost, I just recently joined the Patreon because I just finished season 1 & 2 on steam and I loved the games and I was glad to see episode 11 just finished. I downloaded season 3 today but I just now realized I needed the file from the last season. Now I don’t mind playing the first two again since I can start a new path but I’m lost on where to download the other seasons. ( or could I just import the steam version into the Patreon?

If you still have your saves in Steam, from the End of Season 2 screen, you step forward one screen to the Transfer Save screen save there. When you launch Season 3, you use the IMPORT function and there is a toggle in the upper right that you change to Steam to show the Transfer files made in Steam. The only way to start playthroughs is using your Season 1/Season 2 and taking it through to the Transfer Screen.

From the main screen for season 3, you will see an "import" at the bottom. This will let you import that final save from the end of season 2. Note that for Steam, from the import(where it will show no saves), click at the top and change it to Steam for the source. That will now show your final save(s) from Steam.

This is a relic from the old days, .ZIP or .RAR files that are multi-part. They were split up back in the days of dial-up, because downloading a single big file wouldn't work for most people. So, .ZIP and .RAR files would come in multiple pieces. You go to open the main file, and it will just gather from all the other pieces automatically as you extract them.

Extract using either Winrar and 7-zip and it won't ask you that. Install Winrar. Right click the .zip file and choose Extract here. You should see a book symbol next to Extract here - that's winrar.

If you played episode 10 before your saves should show automatically. Download all the files, unzip using winrar or 7-zip, play. Do not put the game in a folder with any other previous game version.

You get this error when trying to launch the game with corrupted files. If you look in the "game" folder, you will see files with 0 size. Something was corrupted when you extracted. Clear your cache, download files one at a time, and check to make sure all the z0 files are the same size (the zip file is a bit smaller). Extract again on the zip file with winrar or 7zip. Double-check the "game" folder to make sure no 0 size files.

you are choosing native windows extract.. you need winrar or 7zip. Right-click the .zip file and look for the winrar or 7zip symbol and the move the cursor right to expand the selection to see their Extract options. If you have winrar or 7zip installed on windows 11, you may see a "show more options" at the bottom of the menu when you first right-click. Click on that and you should now see the winrar/7zip option.

Need some direction here. The game crashes after a few lines into season 3. I saw previous posts about a similar issue. I deleted the game and save files and persistent data. I had used a mod previously but I have deleted all the data. There is no option to start a new game from this download. When I go to steam, its still showing save data even though I manually have deleted everything.

To fully clean on Steam, you have to make sure to disable cloudsaves as it will restore files. Also, there is a folder called AppData under your /users/loginname. It's normally hidden. Use the view options in your file explorer to view hidden files and folders. Shortcut to it is to go to the start menu and use %appdata%. Go into roaming/renpy. Delete the BeingADIK-xxx folders. The folder without "Season3" in the name is for Season1/Season2. Removing these folders will clear all the master saves and collectibles. Lastly, when you reinstall steam and when you get to the End of Season 2 with a playthrough, be sure to manually delete all the old Transfer Saves if you didn't before you uninstalled S1/S2. You want to keep only the Transfer Files from clean install/saves.

If you are getting error -5 decompression error, then one or more of your download files was corrupted. Clear your cache. Download each file one at a time. Extract with winrar or 7zip. You should not see any files with 0K in the main folder or the game subfolder.

Even if you install clean, the mod tainted your saves and persistent data file. The only recourse is to remove them all and start fresh with a clean install. If you import a save on a clean install and it crashes, that means you are bringing over tainted import saves from S1/S2. The only recourse is to delete mods, install clean, delete saves and persistent file. The only fix is to delete your game, persistent and save files from "game/saves" and "%appdata%/RenPy/BeingaDIKSeason3-Patreon-1535311494" For S1/S2 your appdata folder will have BeingADIK-xxxxx. The number differs if from Patreon, Steam, or GOG. There is no Season in the file name.

Now I have finished seasons 1 and 2 of the game on windows but now I am going to play from MacOs, I downloaded the season 3 files here and the game opens. The problem is that for season 3 it asks us for a different save at the end of season 2. I transferred season 1 and season 2 game saves to mac (persistent file too). In the 3 Season game, when I pressed continue, the saves came out, but they all say “incompatible save”. I think the “Load a save from steam” part in the import section is completely empty. What do I need to do, is there a save for progress after import in a different place, please help me.

Can anyone help me here. I followed all the instructions. Everything is smooth with the downloaded files and winrar. When I extract here using winrar it works. But there is no extracted folder when it finishes extracting. Basically to some it up, I cant find the game file after its done extracting! Any idea?

I got it to work. create a folder(on desktop is best). put all the downloaded files into that folder. open the zip file with winrar. find that folder in the right column. click "extract to". once its complete, navigate to that folder. open and run the game from within that folder. be sure to make sure that the steam version isn't running at the same time. click import when the game is at the main menu. at the top right, click on where it says change source and it should switch to the steam imports from season 2. good luck!
