Status update and Discord server (Patreon)

Here's a status update on Episode 2.

As I mentioned before, it will be a big one. I have counted the total renders and animations based on the revised script and the tally for episode 2 is:

- 655 images

- 24 animations (Extra material for +$20 Patreons only)

The current progress is that 467 of the images are completed, 83 images are queued for rendering and 105 images have not yet been prepared.

4 out of 24 animations are completed, 7 are queued for rendering and 13 animations have not been prepared yet.

The script and music/sound have been completed since the end of last week.

As you can see, the bottleneck indeed is the rendering. I have decided to change the goals on my Patreon page to work towards purchasing a second computer used for 24/7 rendering only. (For this I need about $2400 after taxes.)

I estimate that the remaining renders will take about 14-20 days to complete. Then there's a couple of days of beta testing before the public release. I cannot finalize the date for Episode 2 yet, but the first or second week of June is, as of the current state, definitely a realistic estimate.
