Status Update - Writing and Subliminals (Patreon)

Hello my MODDERS and MODIFIERS!!

It's weekend once again, so it's time for another status update!!

This will be a smaller post, since most of the gameplay changes I already shared on my previous post.
I'm still working on update 0.3.0, the art and code is mostly finished, so now I'm just working on putting everything together and writing the scenarios.
It's going well and I hope my next post will be the Polishing Notice.

Unique writing

So, to not have this status update be one paragraph long, I want to share some of the writing struggles I faced this past week.

So at the beginning of every update, I define what the "arc" will be - what will happen, the sexy scenes, how Mia will act/react, etc. - this is important since without this well defined, I might end up doing art I won't use.
However things like dialogues and more specific parts of the events I like to leave for later when I'm actually writing them in-game.

And I wrote the first bimbo MODIFICATION, play tested it and... I wasn't happy with it.
It wasn't bad, but it just felt just like the Breast Expansion scenes.

And while I'd want a Breast Expansion continuation to be written like that, I wanted the Bimbo path to feel different.
To take advantage of the bimbofication angle.

I spent some time thinking it over, checking some artists, and testing out some different stuff.

In the end, I ended up going with subliminal messages!!
So while the MODIFICATION is happening, the App will talk to Mia, as well as show some messages floating around her head.

It might seem like a small thing, but I think these type of stuff make the paths feel a bit more unique and less repetitive.
And also gives a nice connection with the Mind Control path - since I got to reuse the hypno spirals!!

That's it for now, I hope to finish writing all scenarios next week so I can move on to testing everything - since there are so many new mechanics this time I want to make sure I don't break anything.

I'll go back to my dungeon and continue writing smut under the candle light!!
