Status Update - Growing and Skips (Patreon)
Content
Hello my MODDERS and MODIFIERS!!
I hope you all had a nice week, and had fun with the previous update!!
I want to give a status update on MODIFICATION APP 0.4.0 - Growth, as well as some game design thoughts from the feedback I've gotten on the previous update!!
Growing Update
So, as decided on the previous theme vote, Growth will be MODIFICATION of the next update.
This past week I worked on outlining the events and doing some brainstorming and sketching the sexy scenes.
The current plan is for this MODIFICATION to be split into 5 steps.
The first 2 will make Mia about the size of the player, and the next 3... well that's where the fun begins.
This MODIFICATION will be started after Breast Expansion Lv. 1.

Now, you might be wondering why Breast Expansion Lv.1 and not at the end, alongside the Bimbofication MODIFICATION, and that leads to some feedback I got on the past update.
Can we skip it?
So, I had a couple comments on the previous update of players suggesting an option to allow the player to skip to previously unlocked MODIFICATIONS.
To be clear, this is not a bad idea - however it's a mechanic I want to avoid as much as possible.
From the current state of the game, it might not make a lot of sense of why I'd want to avoid it, so I want to explain my reasoning a bit.
First off, I want the game to branch out from all different places - not only from the end of each path - so I don't think the idea of skipping to the end of a path would be of much use, since you'd be skipping most other paths, which I don't really like.
And the second reason I want to avoid skipping at all is... The minigames.
Growing Minigames
Right now, the minigames have their difficulty linked to the modification path.
However, in the future, I want to expand on these minigames, and increase their difficulty as the game progresses and the player unlocks more paths.
Hopefully, having that progression of the minigame challenges and the player progress will make the game feel a bit more involved and show that the player is making actual progress in the game - instead of feeling like everything is being reset to 0 at the end of each path.
However, despite all these reasons, I might make a "skip item" in the future.
Though this will not be a "skip anywhere" mechanic.
Instead my plan to add these kind of items only if a path branches out into a lot of other paths from that specific spot - however I might have the player play some extra hard minigames when using it, which I think might be a fun idea.
I think that's about everything I had to update you all for now.
Other than planning everything out, I've been working this past week on coding the new minigame, which I think it's coming along pretty well!!
I'll go back to my dungeon and keep working on figuring how to grow those extra inches.
