Red morning has a really catchy sound to it I like it so much better.

Alexander Hanson

An amphibious crossing with fresh levies into a fortified position held by veterans? Not sure about Tywins plan here... I mean if he waited for the Freys sure, but that is not a battle to initiate.

Damm im way too impatient to wait for the next chapter, I can’t find enough fics like this to tide me over until the next chapter

thevolunteer

Such a good chapter, can’t wait for the battle and fall of Tywin.

EM

Oh, the final battle against the Tywin. This battle and the war in general will be remembered forever. How one northern bastard took down THE most powerful house in Westeros. The great houses will loose their minds.

Well, that’s a death flag if I have ever seen one. I fear Dacey is not making it out alive of this battle. Thanks for explaining tywins rationale. The touch of desperation with the underestimation of his enemies is very believable. I wonder if we are so focused on the Tyrell’s and the reach, but instead it’s the vale that’s coming to reinforce Tywin. Maybe not all houses, but some could be manipulated by littlefinger, especially since the vale fought against the Targaryen in the rebellion.

Bro don’t you dare confirm the anxious ass thoughts I’m having after reading this chapter 🤣 I’m gonna have my fingers crossed the whole time reading the next one lol

Radiant Tiefling

Thank you for the chapter. It’s going to be an amazing battle.

So a public monument for the Legion is a good idea. As is a royal book with their names, hometowns, and service time. It would be comparable to the kingsguards' book, though less detailed. Maybe a Roman-style land grant system. Ownership, not rent, of land for a certain period of service. Would have to be a long time though or they'll run out of land fast.

So how hasn't there been ultimatums sent from Kingslanding threatening Sansa and Arya in the months since the rock fell? It's not like Joffrey actually feels anything about family to not act on such threats

Jajasx222

Jon has Jamie, and as we saw, Cersei has no access to the girls. Tyrion has taken them both to the Tower of the Hand, and they are kept there under the careful watch of his men. If Cersei wants to do something to them, she has to take them by force. Tyrion is not stupid enough to let them get hurt.

Jajasx222

Yeah, I have been thinking of this for a while. The legionnaires are already promised spoils and pay. But giving them more would not be hard for Jon. There are hundreds of thousands of square miles of land without any lords now, and he could easily give a farmstead to each soldier.

Jajasx222

It's not a battle you can win easily. But Jon thinks he won't commit his forces; he will send token attacks to keep him pinned there behind his defenses and wait for the Freys. If he sends full-out attacks, he would probably lose.

Simplexity

I can't wait for the battle, but it m actually more looking forward to the Barristan the Bold interlude...
