🔧 I got hacked (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to let you know that my website was hacked earlier today.
It was down for about an hour while I worked to restore a backup from yesterday.
Everything is back online now, and I apologize to anyone who wasn’t able to access it during that time.

I found out it was a hack because I discovered some malicious code injected into my site’s files. I’m currently working with one of my patrons to fix the damage and secure the site as best as we can. Unfortunately, any comments and likes left between yesterday and today were lost in the process… I’m really sorry if you took the time to share something and it’s now gone.

It’s a tough blow, I won’t lie. I don’t know what the hacker(s)' intentions were — there’s no personal or financial data on the site, so this was probably just an act of malice… or maybe someone trying to access content for free and destroying everything in the process.

It’s frustrating, but don't worry, it won’t kill my motivation.

I don't often say this, but thank you very much for your support.
