🚨 Info for Patrons having login/verification issues 🚨 (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

There’s a recent bug that may prevent you from logging into my website. If you see this error:

{"error":"access_denied","error_description":"Please verify your email address through Patreon before logging in."}

then you’re affected by the issue.

Unfortunately, the bug is on Patreon’s side, so I can’t fix it myself. It seems to be affecting all creators’ websites that use Patreon login.

Thankfully, one of our patrons (huge thanks to Bob!) discovered a simple workaround that seems to fix it:

1. Go to your Patreon settings and change your email address (even temporarily).

2. Patreon will send a new verification email to the new address. Click the link to verify it.

3. Once verified, you can switch back to your original email — and it should still work.

Hopefully this helps anyone who’s been stuck with this problem!
