Thanks for another great chapter! I appreciate that Violet has (admittedly flimsy and rapidly deteriorating) morals. It helps keep things interesting compared to other stories with villain leads I’ve read, where the MC is just flat out a psychopath straight out the gate, who acknowledges their wrongdoing but only with the equivalent of a “meh.” Violet seems to be on the same path, but taking a much longer time reaching that point. Internal conflict in a villain character is infinitely more interesting to me than a character who (as mentioned above) was always a psychopath and has zero qualms about murder or screwing over their companions. On that note, I also like that she’s surrounded by people who aren’t immediately fooled by her “charm” persona (rip Daniel). All this to say I’m really enjoying the story so far, and all the character interactions especially, they all feel plausible and well thought out. Keep it up!

Violet moves in and out of it as she needs. she's very good at adjusting her morals or what angle she looks at something to make the guilt easy to ignore

Also, 1 single level for a yellow and a red? That does not bode well for her leveling speed in the future.
