I know in the crunchyroll subs Chika just outright says that Kaguya's mother died of heart disease, so I'm assuming the subs might just be a bit off on picking up on the implied meaning of whatever phrase was used? Not that the original subs are perfect either, but at least they didn't translate tsundere as "being edgy" xD Would be nice if there was a japanese course or guide to learn specifically terms that are hard to translate and often off in anime subs just so one can pick up on that more easily.

Yeah idk what platform their watching on but every once ina while it makes some odd choices. The nurse has some of the best 1-off lines in her rare appearances so missing out on the "I believe this is what the kids call a Tsundere." line is really a shame.
