CHRONO CROSS !! Oh wow, I cannot imagine what it's like to play CC the first time as an adult. Playing as a kid was confusing, but at least I could just follow the wonder purely. I hope you can too, Emily!! Explore tons, look for recruitable characters, and enjoy the melodrama of alternate fates. ...and maybe check out GameFAQs! It's still the best website for Chrono Cross game guides, and likely for all game guides frankly. And the SOUNDTRACK!! You are in for a huge, huge treat. One of the greats.

I absolutely love Chrono Cross! Played at least a dozen times through to get all the characters, on a trusty original Playstation. When my og PS1 died, I thought I'd never play again until they remastered for PS4, and I got chills playing it all over again!

Did I miss something in a short rest where they discussed changing how Cali's defensive flourish works? RAW that's not supposed to be a reaction she can do, it has to be used as part of an attack action and increases her AC for the rest of the round. The part that really confuses me is Emily was doing this correctly at the start of the campaign and something switched somewhere along the way but I don't remeber this ever being directly addressed or discussed.

Dragon Turtles have like 340 HP. They were like halfway through his HP pool unless Murph nerffed him.
