Isn’t that more of a 5e problem rather than a fault on Murph’s/the players’ part, though? Once PCs get above a certain level (and they’re like 14th level here, right?) it’s REALLY hard to end up in a TPK because they have so many tools at their disposal. Having a paladin in the party also ups the survival odds because Emily can do insane amounts of damage AND heal people.

Finally got a chance to listen to this as I wasn't ready to say goodbye to the characters yet. But goddamn what an absolutely fantastic finale. An epic battle where everyone got to shine. Such gorgeous music that made me both cry and then laugh once I realized what the ending song was. Cheers to their next adventure with some cultists!
