I feel like one thing that might be contributing to this campaign feeling a bit shorter overall could be the lack of guest PCs spread between and into some arcs? Cause that feels like it contributed to how bulkier C1 was. Would love to see a new or returning guest PC!! Lou was fantastic in Eldermourne, Nathan could come back as Tonathan, and there's always the new possibilities of maybe Ally or Aabria? Maybe something to keep in mind!

The whole “swag” plot has started to feel pretty muddled, to the point where I’m not even sure the players know how they’re supposed to feel about him? Mystery is nice, but I’m getting whiplash from every scene about “swag” having a totally different emotional tone. Feels like less of a character and more of a plot device, but it feels like it’s all gonna come to a head soon and work itself out so I’m excited.

Just watched a movie Frozen (2010), which involves someone dropping from a ski lift. Pretty visceral depiction to answer the topic of interest during this short rest. Legs absolutely wrecked. Gruesome.

i think 75 would be a perfect length for this campaign. i think the first campaign felt a little inflated by the end, but with the way this campaign is going it's a pretty decent path from ice knife to fae wild to the aftermath of whatever happens in the fae wild. maybe the 3.5 mini arc with the boobs can bring the total count to ~80. now that that thought is out of the way, when we getting a DM jake campaign/one shot?

I had this feeling during the episode but the short rest really cemented it for me....I think Murph is about to whomp these folks like never before. The characters and the players do not seem to be considering that the truth can be something other than what they've been directly told, and I think it's going to have a catastrophic ending that ramps the endgame up a notch.

I just finished reading LWAW to my 3 yo and can agree with Murph... although it has the obvious connotations of YKW, it's still a great book. I also did not know C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien were both in The Inklings.

I think physics-wise Emily has the right of it because if you increase the impact surface area then the force gets distributed throughout. However I think the move would then be to bellyflop not cannonball

I need an American for some help: what is a 'deck?' Because in my Kiwi brain, a deck is a porch. A balcony, if you will, but on the ground floor. Maybe a foot off the ground at most. I have been struggling to picture this incredible deck jump Boris Frig did. Is a 'deck,' in American English, a second-storey (or higher) balcony?

Not all, but there definitely are second story decks in America, and they're more common if it's a large summer/vacation house that backs up to a pool or a pond
