WIP - Bridal Mari 4 (Patreon)

Concepting continues. I'm really doing it step by step and releasing every test render I make, because I don't think I've ever used tumblr to really give you guys insight into my decisionmaking process. Patreon is a great opportunity to do that, and the feedback I'm getting is actually super helpful.

So this is a dusky lighting environment, I could render this shot daytime too. I did it dusk because the less light an object receives, the more the render engine has to work to calculate the surface appearance. So this one took 37 minutes to render to satisfaction on my system, and while that's not bad, it's not fast enough. I want to get it to below 30 minutes. This shot in particular is a bit taxing because there are a lot of flat surfaces for the render engine to think about.

The glass panes are also a stealth render time killer, so I may yet take those out even though I really like how they look. I have some options there to fill that in with other things that look good.

Anyway, this is an atmosphere impression. I kind of want to go for a serene evening vibe, where two girls get sweet with each other (before they get filthy :D).
