I feel like the fourth panel would make more sense if he said something like, "I'm only immortal for a certain number of weeks. I lost track, but the end is coming up soon." Or, "I lost track, but I know it's going away soon." The way it currently is makes it sound like he's currently *not* immortal which makes his attempted suicides and his reasoning behind them confusing.

he currently isn't immortal, he just can't remember when he will be so you'll see on the next page how he tests that
