My Current Health Condition + The Plan Moving Forward (Patreon)

Hi Dragoonerz !!

I’ve missed posting and creating audios for you all very VERY much. As you can tell, there hasn’t been a new audio posted here in almost two weeks. That’s because I’ve fallen very very sick.

It started as just a normal cold that has now advanced into a respiratory infection, sinus infection, and an inner ear infection. This has caused my voice to be absolutely no good for recording, my stamina for recording to be severely reduced due to my overall body fatigue, and because of the ear infection I’ve suffered a good bit of hearing loss.

If you follow me on twitter, then you would’ve seen here in this post that I went to the hospital on Sunday due to my ears ringing in pain and leaking. That’s when I was diagnosed finally and given treatment.

With the medication and prescriptions they gave me, at the very least, my voice should be good enough for recording in about 1 week’s time. Although, it will take some time for my hearing to restore.

So, here is my plan. When my voice comes back in 1 week, I will begin recording again. I’ve already written the scripts that were supposed to be the last two audios of this month, so, once my voice is ready, I plan on doing a batch recording to get both those recordings outta the way. But, because I can’t hear all that well, and I don’t want to damage my hearing any further by irritating it with loud volume editing, I’m going to be sending the audios to a trusted editor and pay them to do the editing for me. They’re going to need about 5 days with each audio, so it would be about 5-10 days after recording until both the audios are posted.

So, all I ask from you all is just a bit of patience with me, please. I’m doing everything I can to get back to normal as fast as possible, I really am. I feel so bad that I can’t just get up and record like usual, especially since there’s so many of you here supporting me.

Also, once my voice is back to being able to record, it’ll overall take a while before I can hear well again, so, I will be sending my audios to an editor for the unforeseeable future. I’m praying it’ll be bo longer than 1-2 months. You all know how much I love to do my own editing and how finicky I get about other people putting their fingers in our audios. But, this specific editor, I trust to do a great job!

So, that’s the plan.

1. Heal my voice in 1 week

2. Do a batch recording of the two late audios

3. Have the audios posted within 10 days after the recording

4. Send all audios from here on out to an editor for about 1-2 months (or until my hearing returns and heals)

In the meantime, I’ve been able to do soooo much writing and brainstorming for next month’s audios as well! I’ll have a head start on that. And delegating the editing to someone else is gonna give me even more time to come up with peak audios for you all!

I hope you all understand my situation and that it’s out of my control. Just know I’m doing everything I possibly can!
