I have started calling them kahanists and then when people ask what I mean I send them David Sheens lecture on Kahanism 'kahanistan' and then explain that they're nazi+++++

Okay yet again- BH being a safe space, and medicine for my soul. Several times I was in tears from laughing so hard- and I realized that both the release of laughing so damn hard, AND the relief(?) of that I’m not crazy (down to the gaslighting, it’s all very real)- there ARE other people feeling this too and we are not the unhinged ones. Granted, everything feels nightmarishly, cartoonishly surreal, which may be why so many of us are struggling with feeling like we’re “going crazy”- so I see it (the relief of “I’m not crazy, and I’m not alone in these feelings”) as a sign of humanity and connection, and I am so grateful that Matt, Daniel, and guests provide this space.

This episode was truly EPIC as far as the amount of laughs you all got out of me which included me letting out a snort because I was laughing that hard. Thanks for being the comedic balm to help me through this dumpster fire that is the reality we are living in. The return of the tiny shredder clip have me in stitches haha. Not to mention Matts hilarious impression of Norman Finkelstein lol. So spot on!

“Poor Superman” is a play by Brad Fraser. An extremely niche Canadian queer theatre reference. (Laurie Anderson’s wonderful song is “O Superman.”)
