Ah yes, IQ tests- the intellectual dick measuring contest ☠️

This episode is so healing for me; the Nobel prize and IQ tests shit especially. My godparents (whom I am not only estranged from, I have an OFP against due to the psychological and domestic abuse I endured during the 5 years I lived with them) deliberately used these “facts” that in PARTICULAR Ashkenazi Jews are disproportionately genius, to make me feel like a piece of shit (about myself, and my parents, whom the abusers looked down upon and made it known that everything from being Hispanic to not having as much education to their careers, made my parents inferior in their eyes). Abusers would tell me that I am as valid a Jew as any (despite being convert), yet would treat me as though I was never “Jewish enough,”- it felt like they acknowledged that on the spiritual level, yes, I am Jewish, but in their books I would never be a “REAL Jew” because I don’t have the IQ score, education, experiences (like camp) and probably I have an incorrect skull shape 😤 All that to my point: abusers are retired now, are Stanford Law alums. While I was living with them, their son was in a PhD program at Stanford, and he met, dated, and married his spouse in the time frame I lived with the abusers. The hilarious thing? I found out (accidentally, via a relative who didn’t know he wasn’t suppose to talk about this in front of me)- that abusers son met his WASP now-wife, on a dating site specifically for PhD students who are “geniuses,”- required IQ score to register. When the relative blurted this out in front of me, the look on abuser Godmom’s face was PRICELESS. The embarrassment 🤣😂 Another thing that was disgusting was how fucking giddy abusers were about the likelihood of having a grandkid with blue eyes (WASP DIL is a blond, blue eyed Aryan American princess from an evangelical, far-right family). Like fuck you (abusers), for all the denial about your superiority complexes and snobbery about who’s worthy enough to marry your son… fucking insecure eugenist narcissistic assholes.
