Matt and Daniel are joined by Daniel's father, author and activist Dr. Gabor Maté to reach a deeper pun-derstanding of Daniel's sense of humor, to ponder the pleas for empathy from Gaza's aggressors in Israel, and to ask whether Miss Rachel should be jailed at Guantánamo Bay, or possibly offered the leniency of our famously chill domestic SuperMax prison system.

Guys… Billy Joel is Jewish

Jude

It has taken me until now to listen to this whole episode. The vibe was fam love all around. As someone who spent over 20 years involved in a fundamentalist christian church, I really identified with the sadness of letting go of all the beautiful feelings associated with belonging to a group filled with enthusiasm for a vision. Yes, the singing, the human connection, the understanding that you have a place with people who have your back. I walked away, as I had to, as you (Daniel and Gabor) had to, and I have no regrets, but the sadness and nostalgia lingers. Thanks for such a great episode.
