Hello friends, I  just want to pop in and say I'm working on the next level set, but things are going a bit slower than usual. The next update will probably be the week of June 22-26

I still think an advanced tutorial might be worth considering. Or two, depending. It, or they, could cover how to use hidden characters, items and their uses, and tips for getting the best times.

I agree. It'd help new players get a heads-up on how certain mechanics work, and how the stat improvements affect each character. Plus, knowing how AOE damage works would be a wonder.

Well, NEW players have the first level. What I have in mind would be more suited to players who want to unlock as many goodies as possible. I’ve been using the new characters on a trial-and-error basis, which can be frustrating. And, the Warrior’s cool-down reduction technique? Easy to underestimate, or forget completely.

I've been wanting to redo the tutorial for a while now. As for advanced techniques, I dunno about that. I feel like a lot of the fun of games is figuring out advanced gameplay for yourself

Does that mean you plan for the existing tutorial to cover all the characters? How does that work? I would’ve thought a second tutorial centered on the secret characters, possibly where you’re locked into using them, would make sense. But then, I have no idea if that’d be feasible, let alone simpler. Either way, I’m curious to see what you come up with. Thanks for the reply.

I haven't yet figured out what the new tutorial is gonna look like tbh. Gonna cross that bridge when we come to it

In case it is simpler than it sounds, or at least feasible, here’s my thought: it’s unlocked only after you have the four hidden characters, you’re locked into using them, and the tutorial focuses on on their skills. Hope that helps, and thanks for your interest in my suggestions.
