Here's the first UI mockup for all the non-combat menus! I anticipate this being a bit quicker than the UI mockup process for combat personally.

The biggest change is the idea of a world map! I think world maps are pretty cool, but I'm on the fence. It's a pretty big undertaking and would require extra time to work on during level sets. Right now levels usually take me 2 weeks, but with a world map to support it would probably take me 3 weeks for a 6 level set!

Other than that I don't think there's a lot of big changes. I already really like the original menu layout, I just think it needed some formatting and polish!

Here's what I'm thinking about:

  • Is the world map worth the extra time investment? (3 weeks to create a 6 level set, instead of 2)
  • Is it ok that we no longer have icons for Power, Speed, Metabolism, and Capacity?
  • Is replacing the "level" of stats like Speed, Metabolism, and Capacity with their actual value a good idea?

Pleas let me know what you think in the comments!

I think most of the changes are a good investment of time except for the removal of the icon because newer players would understand what the people can or can not do.

I agree with the guy above, mostly. I think all the changes are good for the removal of the icons, as I think those provide a good overview for newer players. Otherwise this all seems pretty good. This game might be about seeing women turn themselves into freaking chunkbeasts, but it doesn't mean it can't be an actual, like, good video game.

A world map does give a better feel of a world that the game lives in if you ask me

Have to admit, this looks rather interesting! If you think it works best, then by all means go ahead. If not, the current system works just as well. 'Course, as SirChomp said, it helps establish the place as its own world this way.

Honestly? I like it. It's more content, so I'm content with it!
