This week:
Poking
Emotional Behaviors
Prompt Assist
Poking
The new animation pipeline is awesome, I was able to make 16 new animations each with their own logic, tweaks, and facial animations, in ONE WEEK. And so the new poking behavior is a new system that comes with 8 of those new animations.
It came out really well and really cute. The animations look life like due to motion capture and my post-facial animation tweaks. How it works is you can have varying magnitudes of poking. If you poke a little it will be counted as a friendly poke. If you spam the poke she will get angry.
When angry she will not listen to you very well and will ignore you sometimes. There are some new layered animations like crossing her arms that are activated when she becomes angry. I added new instant sound voice effects such as HUMPH and LAUGH to accompany many of the new poking animations.
Emotional Behaviours

The robot can now become angry if you insult her while talking to her. Likewise she will become happy if you apologize. Since AI is still spotty sometimes when detecting these insults or apologies, you can always change her mood with poking.
This is a great feature addition and I expect to add many more emotions later on!
Prompt Assist
I forgot to add this to the video but Kobold_CPP support is COMPLETE! So this monthly release will come with proper once-and-for-all functioning local AI hosting. There won't be human speech voice but you will have the robotic undertale style voices (or not if you wish to disable it).
The prompt assist is a new part of the RobotEditor that allows you to change the internal system prompt to directly influence the behaviour of your robot. It replaces the ENTIRE prompt at the moment so I have to come up with a way later to inject required gameplay messages. But for now it will be available as is.
Super awesome stuff coming this year.
Also I am starting a Kickstarter to see if we can fund multiplayer or VR. I plan to launch it this coming month in February.
As always, stay tuned!
