ALOT of progress has been completed. Summary video of the progress is included in this post.
I started the week by making the robot body detachable on command. This system handles detaching and inheriting position, rotation, and any special transforms needed (like hair). So now your robot, despite being an animated physics skeleton, can lose and gain limbs on the fly.

After this I worked on a system that allows the player to move around and pick up limbs. Everything is driven fluidly by physics so when you pick up something the transition to holding is very smooth. You can rotate objects you pick up, scroll them out, and place them on other objects.
Some special UI effects were created so that whenever you hover your mouse over a certain object, it becomes highlighted with a color to let you know what kind of object it is.

I also worked on some props. I made a wooden table and a vintage metal office desk. The computer desktop model I purchased for 2 bucks and modified it to work with my game.

I've been trying to figure out how the mechanics of the game will work. I've decided to give the player a desktop so that you can manage and maintain your robot. What I mean by this is that you will at the start of the game, order parts online through the fictitious "Amadong" online retailer. Certain parts will have better stats than other that will help your robot girl not fall apart or learn faster. I made a silly "Dark Web" store for later if you want to buy silly upgrades. Some of my Discord friends described my game so far as "My Summer Car". Never played it but it's very similar to what I'm aiming for, with AI of course.

I've got tons of other WIP stuff to show off in the next devpost. Don't forget to check out the video attached to this post. I'm trying out a different devpost format.
Stay tuned!
