I have never heard of that and I can't find any info about it so I'm not so sure that's the case. The only thing that comes up is a joke, where Oda apparently joked that Zoro died but his soul couldn't find its way (because even Zoros soul is terrible at directions) so it just went back to his body.

The next three Episodes are fillers. You can skip the first two but I highly recommend you to watch the third episode 384 it’s about Brook trying to blind in with the crew. It’s peak comedy and a breather for what’s to come.

To this day this is still in my top 2 saddest backstory of all One Piece. This backstory is also why I love watching the anime so much, without sound this doesnt hit as hard to me!

When people say Thriller Bark is their least favourite arc, you should strap them in a chair and force-make-them-watch these 3 episodes (or the last 5 so we get the "Nothing happened" episode included) and dare them to say that again 🔥

I loved Thriller Bark. It is still a mystery why so many people dislike it just like with Skypiea. If anything I think Whole Cake island, Zou and Wano are worse because those are the embodiment of the word "Dragged". I'm glad you liked it Ali ^^
