That was the evil eyes back story but as sad as it was there was too much hatred and evil for it to be pure

IMHO, I don't think the spirit was bad from the start. I think the nature of its former life, the fact the worm aura following him and causing people to kill themselves and seeing other kids get murdered by the Kito family drove it murderously insane and resentful towards humans. But that's just my take on the background story we just saw. P.S. After thinking about episode 2 for a bit. I also think the kid who was the very first sacrifice was selected by the Kito's because he was an albino. The white hair, white eyelashes and purple eyes make me think he was an albino. So maybe he was already shunned for his appearance and possibly abandoned by his family? That's just a theory of mine.
