Chapter 141: The Intimidation from Night City

Elysia was eagerly anticipating the multiplayer mode.

After all, playing games with friends often made them much more enjoyable.

Completing the game wasn't the goal; it was about having a friend to enjoy the gaming process with.

Bronie could understand that quite well.

Unfortunately, Bronie mentioned that the production of the online mode would be handled by the members of the Haxxor Bunny Studio, so it would take at least a year to complete.

This was under the condition that the game had its foundation, settings, and maps.

After all, the 18+ mode in single-player games and online games did have some differences.

In single-player mode, as long as you marked it as 18+, there usually weren't any issues, no matter how explicit the content was.

But with online games, you had to consider streaming issues.

The streaming industry had already taken off, with major platforms competing for streamers, and Welt had carved out his own space online with his live shows.

It could be said that he made quite a bit of money by going against the Anti Entropy. Sometimes, Bronie would complain, wondering if Welt was neglecting his duties as a teacher at the St. Freya Academy by focusing so much on streaming.

But it didn't really matter. The Flamechasers of the Elysian Realm were the first to enjoy the game without any restrictions or publicity.

With nothing else to do, why wouldn't they play a new game when it came out?

Elysia made a copy of the game and eagerly opened it.

She wanted to meet Lucy, see David's grave, and explore the Night City, which was based on Bronie's hometown.

What would it be like? Adult mode? Of course, she had to turn it on!

Then she noticed something strange in the character creation options.

Even though she selected female, there were options for male characteristics in certain areas.

Very very certain areas.

"My Eden!"

"Hm? What's wrong?"

"I'm starting to worry about Bronie's mental state. Look at this mess!"

Eden also leaned in, blushing at the continuously changing options.

"Naughty, Elysia~"

"This isn't my fault, it's Bronie's fault!"

...

Similarly, after the game started its countdown, Welt skillfully pre-downloaded it.

Bronie unlocked the game early for various streamers, giving the game one last bit of publicity. In order to livestream, Welt also activated the streamer mode to avoid showing any overly explicit scenes.

The game had kindly set up a streamer mode, so the secondary sexual characteristics weren't so prominent in the character creation.

Everyone wore underwear, and nothing else was visible, but the fabric seemed deliberately placed, piquing Welt's curiosity.

"Okay, audience, I'm going to temporarily black out the stream. I'm curious to see what the character creation system looks like without the streamer mode."

Ignoring the audience's protests, Welt immediately turned off the stream's video feed but left the audio on.

"Um...uh...this...whoa..."

Shocked Old man Yang. HSR Welt Holding a phone.jpg

Then the screen returned to the character creation interface.

"Alright, audience, I seriously doubt Haxxor Bunny's mental state now. Even though there have been anime previews, trailers explaining the game's background, and even detailed settings for role-playing games, I never expected it to go this far."

Over in the States, Anti Entropy was indeed starting to get a bit magical, and the progressive left version was about to be updated, so Welt had some knowledge of these things.

But he never expected Bronie to actually do it, focusing on a free and open approach, as if releasing an early version.

However, it was true that it was nearing 2013, and the new version hadn't been refined much, but the game's content seemed to encompass several future versions, perhaps warning everyone to beware of such things happening.

But maybe Haxxor Bunny's hometown was just that free and open?

This possibility suddenly occurred to Welt.

There was no way around it; Welt knew Bronie was a traveler from some world in the Sea of Quanta, and the world she once lived in might actually have that style.

After all, starting to wear fishnet stockings and a small vest at a young age obviously exhibits that cyberpunk style.

Moreover, the pattern on the back of the coat can also illuminate, which is the iconic pattern of Haxxor Bunny, also embodying a very cyberpunk style.

It is said that there are no living legends in the Night City, so can Haxxor Bunny be considered a legend in her hometown?

Welt perked up and focused on the game.

There are three backgrounds at the beginning: a wanderer, a street kid, and a fired company employee.

These three starting backgrounds can unfold the worldview from different perspectives, and each character has different strengths and weaknesses.

The main missions can choose special branches depending on different backgrounds, but they will ultimately converge on the same storyline.

There aren't too many endings, only about seven scattered ones, but these endings are not particularly good.

After all, one person's power is limited. Even if one Company falls, there are countless others. In such a rotten world, it will definitely take a long time and countless resources to change it.

Do regular players have that ability?

Would Bronie design such a thing?

Of course not!

If someone asks Bronie whether the endings she made are a bit too bad and whether she will make a good ending in the future, Bronie will proudly answer the question.

As a corporate lackey, Welt wouldn't like this kind of frustration. Going from a high-ranking company executive to a nobody, although this dragon king's like return does have some excitement, Welt isn't interested.

As for the street kid, it's almost the same background as David's.

To be honest, Welt is interested in continuing David's legend, but he is quickly drawn to the wanderer.

That pure outsider has a romantic aura.

Leaving his own family to wander alone and coming to this Night City, it's like the heavens sending a savior.

Welt likes this identity.

Wanderer?

It should be called an adventurer!

After choosing his identity, before even arriving in the Night City, he was taught a lesson by the local tyrant police here.

The lip-syncing of the voice actors matches, and there are many details in the expressions, but Welt feels like his computer is working frantically.

"Although I felt the stunning quality in Evil Within, this time looking at this wilderness in Night City, I was amazed again. Look at that desert. It's said that nothing can be planted there, and Night City has also been bombed by nuclear bombs before. I didn't expect it to be rebuilt so quickly."

Welt began to tell everyone some background stories he knew, but he didn't expect that as a wanderer entering the Night City, he still wanted to make extra money through smuggling!

And this new partner is actually a novice!

Taking the smuggling declaration openly, getting the bribe money from Jack, and then walking straight into the customs building as if it were a matter of course.

Just a few short sentences of exchange, along with border inspections, made Welt see the various aspects of this world.

Shortly after passing through security, not far from leaving the checkpoint, a convoy directly caught up. This wave of dog eat dog world also opened Welt's eyes.

"There's always a feeling that this is what Haxxor Bunny has experienced. The act of one devouring another is really too skilled. And you may not have noticed, but when the characters use brain-computer communication, their eyes emit blue light. The prosecutor asked us about our family background before. I kept it secret from him, but the fact that we lacked confidence was there for him to see, so he decided to take a chance."

After a tense and exciting chase, they finally shook off these company lackeys and found a safe place, but the car seemed to be on the verge of breaking down.

They didn't hold back on cursing along the way. It was very down-to-earth, and Jack often spoke his hometown Spanish language.

However, Jack has a kind of inexplicable sincerity. Of course, when he was at the checkpoint, he always sat in the driver's seat, and he had many of his own tricks.

It gives people a feeling of being both simple and clever, and Welt instantly liked this character.

The residents living in the Night City all have their own unique ways of life. They know they can't resist the company's exploitation, but their dignity is also important.

Of course, there is also unity.

Yes, there is unity, just like how the wanderers have their own families, the people of Haywood also have a certain sense of collective honor.

Perhaps, in such a terrible environment, sticking together for warmth is indeed an easier way to live.

A simple prologue, from a wanderer who left his family to this Night City, passing by the checkpoint, one can still hear the company's security guards complaining about dreamers' unrealistic dreams, to repeated instances of people eating people, abandoning their humanity.

Even Jack has thoughts of going to the dark side completely. It vividly portrays the depravity of human nature in this Night City.

Coming alone to this city, one might encounter such helpless situations.

Even if there are ambitious aspirations, after this wave of intimidation, even Welt can feel Mr. V's confusion.

There's no way around it, this city really does devour people!

The following CG sequences briefly narrate V's life in the Night City for nearly half a year from a first-person perspective.

From starting out with Jack, to getting some small-time jobs from middlemen, whether it's theft or robbery, everything is available.

Then, getting into fights in bars, winning money to buy a new car, and finally ending the cohabitation with Jack, and finally renting a house of his own.

There's an inexplicable feeling of similarity to the house David used to live in.

In half a year's time, compared to David, it feels like there's a bit of a slow development.

But the voice acting really impressed Welt. Welt could tell that Bronie put a lot of effort into this game.

Whether it's the details of the environment, the characters' movements, or even the interaction with passersby, there's a certain level of interactivity.

The prologue isn't over yet. Looking at the protagonist and Jack sitting in the same car, only then did Welt realize that he hadn't gone through the beginner's tutorial yet.

"Wow, well, the overall feeling I got from the previous content is really amazing. Although ray tracing was already a very mature technology in Evil Within, in this neon-lit city, there's a different scenery."

Welt wouldn't skip the beginner's tutorial.

After all, to avoid not being able to hack into someone else's door lock, Welt chose to enter the tutorial.

There's quite a lot taught in there, and it's no wonder Jack calls it advanced military tech.

After the tutorial, it's time for missions.

This time, it's not about robbery or murder missions, but a rescue mission.

To rescue a woman from a gang called Scavengers. Jack calls them Organ Harvesters, and their most distinctive feature is that they all wear uniform mosaic projection masks, which greatly obscure their faces.

After entering the enemy's territory, Welt finally understands what these so-called Organ Harvesters are all about.

"Tsk, it seems like the broadcaster mode has covered up to some extent the bodies and blood, but I can probably understand why Jack hates these guys so much. It seems like the judgment of some viewers in the anime, that David's mother suddenly passed away for something evil might be correct."

What judgment?

That David's mother should have had a chance to survive, but because she encountered an unscrupulous doctor, she was torn apart like the poor soul on the operating table, and the remaining flesh and bones were burned to ashes, then packed into a tin can.

This became a lifelong pain for David, and the phrase "must climb to the top of Arasaka" has become a curse accompanying David throughout his life.

It's also part of what drove David insane. Sneaking, assassinating, hacking into lights to attract attention, and then assassinating!

The levels after this simple beginner's tutorial let Welt see a Jack and V who have already grown.

The Trauma Team is still as lively as ever, and on the way home, they even encounter retaliation from the Scavengers, but for the Night City, this seems to be just a common occurrence.

Car chases?

David often experienced them too, and even his mother died because of such incidents. It can be said that with the blessing of anime, everything seems familiar, and Welt feels a sense of familiarity with everything.

Wild freedom, and the crazy Night City, only in such an absurd world would one feel so fascinated, wouldn't they?

"Haxxor Bunny really made a good game... I finally understand why she said everyone would fall in love with this place, but also want to burn it all to the ground."

Chapter 142: Night City, You Can Lose Your Life, But You Can't Lose Your Livelihood

Cyberpunk 2077 is primarily focused on a first-person immersive experience, but due to the potential for some players to experience motion sickness in 3D, Bronie included a third-person function as well.

In terms of action, it goes without saying that the third-person perspective has its own appeal, while the first-person perspective offers its own sense of immersion.

Bronie considered both perspectives, but truly playing through may feel a bit disjointed between the third and first-person perspectives.

If the first-person perspective gives off a feeling of some series in a console, then the third-person perspective gives off a feeling of Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid.

As for why Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid?

It's because different cybernetic bodies produce different effects, and when equipped with a double jump, isn't this game just like Devil May Cry?

Bronie referenced many games to blend their styles as much as possible, resulting in the creation of this marvelous Cyberpunk 2077!

Of course, shades of games like GTA may also be present, as the vast city, open world, and similar mission chains are inevitable.

However, it's this game, filled with countless content, that makes the entire Cyberpunk genre extremely liberating.

After completing a mission, Welt finally returned to his small cabin.

There's still a computer in the cabin, but it's filled with lots of junk mail, and because of the old network's inability to use, everything seen on the computer is related to Night City.

What's most intriguing is still a mail, indicating a delivery to this house.

But upon arrival, it was discovered that because no one had received the delivery for a long time, it was returned to the original address, triggering a side mission directly.

It's evident that V is the kind of person who likes to take advantage of small opportunities.

How could one not take back a package delivered to their doorstep?

So, this side mission appeared, tracing back to the original address only to find out that the deliveryman was actually a random serial killer.

He planted bombs in the packages for random people to be killed by it, but he never expected that V's house had been unoccupied for a while and no one had signed for it.

Originally, such a thing should have been taken by some unlucky person, but because the sender wanted to avoid the package being taken by someone else, they specifically placed it in the package storage area, and more importantly, the package was cash on delivery.

With no one picking up the package for a long time and the delivery company wanting to collect the shipping fee, the package was sent back.

However, this guy didn't realize that it was his own bomb that he had sent out.

When V arrived at the scene, it was actually a scene of an inferno.

It fully illustrates what it means when they say in Night City you can lose your life, but you can't lose your livelihood.

Of course, Bronie has incorporated more ruthless elements into Night City.

These stories sound a bit fantastical, but they also have a hint of reality. It just makes Welt frown, while the live stream room is full of joy, and Welt is very worried about Bronie's mental state.

There's no way around it; this game is just too indulgent.

As the main story progresses, when doing Mandela's side mission, you inevitably encounter Lizzie's Bar and more and more bizarre things, with a very deep sense of immersion, as if gradually remodeling someone's brain.

It makes everyone feel like the world is so absurd and ridiculous, and perhaps the future will become just as ridiculous and desperate.

But overall, the game is still a good game. Jack's death, the middleman's betrayal, and Johnny Silverhand appearing in V's mind.

The compact plot leads to the story of the rise of a legendary mercenary and the deceased rock musician Johnny Silverhand.

The protagonist controlled by the players keeps getting stronger, with more and more resources at hand, and even being able to ask the middleman to do some unsavory things for them.

This gradual leveling up has become one of the important highlights of this game!

Of course, just as Welt had just started to like Mr. Jack, he quickly met his demise, which also made Welt lose his smile directly.

There's no way around it; everyone likes this partner who is both silly and clever, but tragedy is about tearing all the good things apart to show everyone its innards!

The game continues, with more and more content inside, and later, Welt found a place that looked like the hospital where David's mother once went.

As a result, it was all occupied by the Scavengers.

This directly made Welt emo for a long time.

Can even hospitals become cannibalistic?

Realizing this, Welt harbors full hatred towards the Scavengers.

Although he wanted to wipe out all the Scavengers, they were like cockroaches; eliminating one batch would only bring out another batch.

Welt felt helpless, but later, when he happened to pass by Misty's little shop, he received a brand new hint.

The Scavengers cannot be completely eliminated because the land supports their existence.

Some people indeed have no choice, but more people come from their own greed. It's just an unavoidable situation!

Misty's presence serves as a reminder to some more enthusiastic players not to forget about the main and side quests; otherwise, this game will never be completed.

The ending will never be reached either.

The livestream continued for nearly two weeks, even revealing David's hidden subplot.

When Welt defeated Adam Smasher, he was also wearing David's coat.

If wearing David's coat, Adam Smasher would mention that the emblem on it reminded him of an interesting guy.

After an intense battle, wielding Rebecca's shotgun, V, whose body was almost entirely cybernetically enhanced, delivered the final blow to Adam Smasher at the top of Arasaka Tower, marking the game's conclusion.

Depending on different choices, players can achieve different endings through the corporation, Rogue, or even a more desperate ending through Panam.

These endings don't differ much from those of previous games played by Bronie; it's more about the overall experience.

With so much content filled in, players can spend months without any issues.

Welt is also working hard to maintain the livestream effect, giving viewers a better narrative viewing experience.

So, these two weeks were like a continuous drama series. While streaming this drama, it attracted countless players to try out the game.

Now, discussions about Cyberpunk 2077 dominate the internet.

Of course, there are also some bizarre short videos, all featuring the 2077 logo, highlighting a sense of freedom.

People both love and hate Night City.

They love it because the city is so free and unrestrained; everyone can do as they please in Night City.

But they also hate it because the corporations in this world are so domineering.

The final outcome is either V's death or Johnny taking over V's body to continue living, creating a sense of unresolved conflict.

For Welt, an older gentleman, this storyline is a series of shocks.

Pursuing the corporate path ultimately leads to nothing, and ending up in conflict with

Johnny, witnessing Saburo Arasaka take over his son, Yorinobu Arasaka? Or perhaps leaving Night City to seek ephemeral hope in the vast desert? Or following Johnny's lead and launching a nuclear bomb into the Crystal Palace in space to permanently resolve everything?

But even if Saburo Arasaka is successfully dealt with, there are still many corporations sucking the blood of the people in this world.

The more Welt explores this city, the more he feels the overwhelming tide of the times, pushing all of human civilization towards an irreversible end.

V doesn't understand how to resist; they just act out of rebellion. Johnny can't find hope, but still leaves a nuclear bomb in Night City like a moth to a flame.

But after inheriting V's body, he temporarily sets aside the spirit of rebellion, leaving Night City to find a new world and start a new life.

Regardless of how many cybernetic enhancements one has or how strong one's personal abilities are, it all seems futile in the end, as if nothing can change.

It just leaves behind a legendary story for mercenaries to chat about while drinking.

When Welt reflects on the phrase "There are no living legends in Night City," he can't help but sigh at how heavy the phrase is in Night City.

Perhaps there are still many details in the game that have not been discovered, or perhaps Welt's two weeks of gameplay only scratched the surface of the main and side quests.

However, after completing the storyline mode, Welt fell into an emotional state that lingered for a long time.

Every time it's like this. But every time, players enjoy it like candy.

This is also the charm of Night City.

However, unlike players like Welt who focus solely on the main quest, others in the Elysian Realm have a different experience.

Having experienced countless separations and deaths, they watch everyone in this bustling city struggle to live, often resorting to violence for their own interests.

Even high-ranking corporate executives are willing to sell their bodies for a chance at promotion.

This deeply shocked the innocent Kevin in the Elysian Realm.

Most importantly, nobody understood the military technology director's cryptic message!

As a result, when she asked him to guard the Hotel, Kevin was ambushed!

What's more, the military technology director seemed to be in her thirties, and without any content blocking mode in the broadcaster, this brought a chilling impact to Kevin's heart.

Kevin had anticipated that the game might be very free and unrestrained, but he didn't expect it to be this much.

He felt that there might be some fun to be had in the Elysian Realm in a while.

Su immediately paused his own game and came to Kevin's side.

"What's wrong? Did you find some interesting plot? Were you defeated by the Ice Shooter or shocked by the Twisted Treant?"

Night City doesn't tolerate idleness; you can't just exist. You have to live.

Mr. Su was also playing a video while killing time, and he stumbled upon a short video by chance.

It was presented in the form of a news commentary by a marketing account, discussing some strange events in Night City.

The most famous among them are the Four Horsemen of the Night City Apocalypse. There's the Ice Shooter, the Twisted Treant, the Avenging Flame, and the most entertaining one, the Explosive Genius.

Just seeing such a short video, Mr. Su immediately knew that there must be a lot of fun in this game.

So, with his ability to perceive the Wheel of Karma, he noticed some changes in Kevin.

Silent Kevin, flickering screen, passionate collision.

Then Mr. Su opened his eyes.

"This game, indeed shouldn't be played by Kosma or Griseo."

But Kevin's response was, "They are over fifty thousand years old."

Yeah, over fifty thousand years old.

That's how shocking the game's content is.

Kevin's ability to calmly watch through the content is enough to open Su's eyes, but for Griseo and Kosma, it might lead to some strange scenes in the Elysian Realm.

That's something we should avoid!

"Kevin, are you sure?" Mr. Su asked again.

But Kevin hesitated for a moment. "Memory needs to move forward. In the future resurrection plan, change and growth are also indispensable."

"Well, since you put it that way, then in the future, I'll leave the need of explaining this to you for Aponia! Bye-bye, my friend~"

Now Kevin understood why Su came to visit him; this schemer was planning something against him again!

"Wait! Su!" Kevin stood up from his chair.

"What's up?"

"Let's just let these changes happen quietly. There's no need to rush to tell Aponia about this, and we might need to evaluate Bronie's mental state properly. Have we put too much pressure on her with the Signet we gave her?"

"Or maybe it's because of the power of the Elation Aeon that has actually been infused into Bronie's body, leading her down a path of joy."

At this point, Vill-V also joined in, and her judgment made Kevin slightly stunned.

If it's the Aeon... If it's the Aeon, then there's not much anyone can do about it.

Do they need to help Bronie?

"It doesn't matter. The so-called Path of destiny is not something that is guided by the gaze of the Aeon, but rather one's own contemplation of life and firm determination that leads to the path of destiny. All of this is basically Bronie's choice, although I think she might have had better options... But let's still wish her well."

If Haxxor Bunny heard Vill-V say this, he would definitely retort fiercely, not to arbitrarily categorize people as being on a joyful path!

Unfortunately, Vill-V's words gained unanimous agreement from Mr. Su and Mr. Kevin.

Perhaps, in the future, Bronie will be labelled as a Masked Fool because of this.

Although Bronie did receive a mask that everyone knows about, so far, this mask hasn't had much effect.

"By the way, Kevin, there's something you might need to know."

"Hmm?" Kevin was puzzled. What did Su want to tell him?

"Recently, you in the Sea of Quanta has started training, I'm not sure what triggered it."

"Let me guess, did you make me play Getting Over It?"

"Maybe. Do you also have a talent for entering unknown Paths like Aponia?"

"Heh, heh, I hope you can face the outside world as calmly when you face me."

Chapter 143: Reminiscing Night City

When Bronya set aside the game in her hands and glanced once more at Bronie, who was tutoring Rosalia and Lilia outside, Bronya's emotions were undeniably complex.

Is Night City intriguing?

Undoubtedly so.

Assuming Bronie's mental state is indeed stable, then how much of Night City, her hometown, is authentically depicted within?

The narratives, the characters, the ambiance, and the chaotic essence therein.

Indeed, such a game is ill-suited for children to engage in, for they might find the gangs appealing and regard disposing of bodies casually as inconsequential.

In a world devoid of shame and morality, lacking a firm moral compass could easily lead one astray through gaming.

Bronya is relieved she didn't allow others to partake in this game.

The age rating seems apt.

However, during her gameplay sessions, Bronie didn't engage in any work.

Typically, she either spent time with everyone or conversed and played games with Elysia, showing no inclination towards creating new games or reviewing Cyberpunk 2077 at all.

It's rather peculiar, as if there's a desire to cease game development after completing this one.

Although there are ongoing developments regarding the online mode within the Haxxor Bunny Studio.

Just as Bronie was once again irked by Rosalia's foolishness, Bronya hastily followed her into the office.

"What's the matter? Or is the recent workload too light?"

Bronie was completely taken aback. Bronya silently followed her into the office, perhaps assuming she was going the same way.

"Nothing, Bronya was just pondering how had Bronie sister lived in a city like Night City before."

"How so? Are you somewhat disillusioned about my past? There, it's a haven for the affluent and a hell for the destitute. Of course, if one possesses certain remarkable abilities and significant surplus value, they might still secure a better life."

"Impressive indeed."

"What?"

"Bronya noticed that there isn't even a place resembling an orphanage in Night City. Occasionally, some compassionate residents might offer a meal to children."

"But is it only a meager amount? Even while rummaging through garbage bins, you might face assaults from others, despite appearing frail, even though as a mercenary, V possesses formidable strength."

Some trash bins in certain areas can be rifled through, and sometimes, money can be found!

However, upon closer inspection, one would realize that these trash bins have been repurposed into makeshift homes, and the money found is merely because this was once someone's meager abode.

Assaults?

Merely to safeguard the last semblance of continuation of their existence, their home.

Later on, many players opted not to sift through trash bins anymore, while some attentive players could even come across logs from scavengers, stating that their last refuge had been raided, hence resorting to this path to ensure sustenance.

One could only lament the extent of this tragedy.

"In truth, this is just a game..."

"Thankfully, it's merely a game, and fortunately, everything has passed. You need not worry about the company. Didn't Takamura Goro mention that the company would shelter homeless children and groom them into loyal subordinates, akin to Lucy's former companions?"

Bronya suddenly recalled something.

"Similar to Cocolia?"

"Uh... well..."

Bronie also nodded, albeit with a furrowed brow. Bronya was only vaguely aware of Cocolia's circumstances, and if described thus, it wouldn't be entirely inaccurate.

However, Cocolia's situation is more convoluted, more peculiar.

Forget it, too lazy to dwell on so much.

"Bronya is quite concerned about your well-being. Lately, Bronie sister hasn't shown any interest in anything related to Cyberpunk 2077, which is unprecedented."

Previously, Bronie would watch videos, live streams, and peruse comments.

Upon seeing heaps of praise, she would proudly stand tall.

Occasionally, she would exchange ideas with the children at the orphanage and discuss some thoughts with Elysia regarding the game development process.

But this time, it's markedly different.

She's even delving into the children's studies in her everyday life!

Actually, everyone found it a bit odd, but focusing on studies was considered relatively normal, so no one knew what to say. It was only much later that Bronya, who often accompanied Bronie, noticed the issue.

This change made Bronya feel quite puzzled. "What are you looking at? It's just a few words of praise; I'm used to it. Don't worry about me. I just have occasional seizures," Bronie said, leaving Bronya unsure of how to respond.

However, she still approached Bronie and sat on her lap in the office chair. "Are you reminiscing about your hometown?"

"Hometown isn't worth reminiscing about; it's the people worth reminiscing about. When we venture into new universes in the future, we'll always encounter familiar yet unfamiliar people. You get used to it; occasionally reminiscing is fine," Bronie replied.

She simply felt that leaving her original world meant she could never return.

The Sea of Quanra could truly be a tricky world!

"So, is Bronie sister reminiscing about guys like Jack?"

"Jack is dead. I miss the living, and in Night City, Haxxor Bunny is known as a lone wolf."

"Then Bronie sister is even more amazing!"

"Of course!"

Hearing Bronya's praise, Bronie felt much better. Apart from reminiscing about Cioara, Bronie was particularly nostalgic for the first idol of the Cyber Arc City, Theresa. Strictly speaking, she also had a senior sister identity.

However, every time the Third Honkai Eruption approached, Bronie couldn't help but think of that guy. Although she looked young and short, she was more mature and reliable than he appeared.

Although it was said that Haxxor Bunny was a lone wolf in Arc City, without Theresa's information support, Haxxor Bunny would easily hit a wall in the world of the net.

"In just over a year, during the season when the cherry blossoms bloom in Nagazora City, it will be the time for the Third Eruption and the arrival of the Third Herrscher."

"Is it... accurate?"

Bronya never expected Bronie to provide such an accurate time.

"This is a lesson from the previous era's sacrifice. By using the remains of the Second Divine Key and observing the abnormal flow of imaginary energy within the narrative space, one can detect the formation of imaginary singularities in Nagazora City. Although the formation takes a relatively long time, that thing is like a bomb entering a countdown."

The Third Eruption is coming so soon?

Bronya only had a rough understanding of the dangers of the Honkai from what she had learned, and everyone in the orphanage had ended up here because of the Second Eruption, having lost their families.

And in the next Eruption, there might be even more people like herself?

"What can Bronya do? Or does Sister Bronie hope Bronya can do something?"

"You don't have to do anything. I'll try to evacuate everyone there before the Honkai. By then, the Anti Entropy will hold a grand assembly to select new people, and those corporate dogs... who try to obstruct and resist the Honkai will be wiped out under a carefully prepared lightning storm as a celebration of the birth of the Herrscher of Thunder."

Then Bronie smiled again. "Of course, these are decisions made by Anti Entropy's own people. I just gave them a little push from behind. Do you know how scared Tesla looked then? Wanting to curse me but not daring to, she could only curse at those capitalists."

"Forget it, just think of me as being in a bad mood. Maybe relatives coming over recently have affected my mood."

"I see."

Suddenly, Bronya seemed to realize something.

Among the children in the orphanage, apart from Sin, the oldest was naturally Bronya. So only Bronya was the first to encounter these things and understand Bronie's pain.

Bronya turned around, straddled in front of Bronie, facing her directly, her little hand pressed against her abdomen. "Drink more hot water; it won't hurt~"

"Ah, don't treat me like a child. I'm just feeling a bit restless about the wheel of fate starting to turn, like worrying about whether I've completely mastered the subject matter before an exam."

"The Honkai can be considered a test for human civilization, so is Bronie sister the biggest examinee now?"

"And also the kind of examinee who has to do extra questions."

Bronie sighed. "Although you do have combat experience, most of it is against humans. After this period passes, I'll take you out for a trip to broaden your horizons. After experiencing everything, you can talk about resisting the Honkai."

"Just... me alone?"

Bronya never expected it to come to this so quickly. After all, she wasn't very old.

"As for Sin... she's not very suitable for the battlefield, and she tends to push herself too hard. I don't want to see her suddenly become a zombie. Rosalia and Lilia have the talent, but they're still too young... As for Seele, her fairy tale story hasn't ended yet. Let her enjoy herself. Of course, if you don't want to get involved, I won't force you. I just think the timing is right."

Is the timing right?

Bronya had a premonition that if she missed this opportunity, she would be left behind in the future, losing even more.

"Okay, Bronya will go with you. But Bronya is more curious, are we going to the lab?"

"Of course not, we're going to see Elysia! If you offer Elysia a beautiful girl as a tribute, she will grant you new powers. Do you remember this?"

"Ah?"

Chapter 144: Elysia's Blind Friend

Actually, Bronie's favorite thing to see was Bronya's puzzled expression.

Every time she saw Bronya's confident demeanor, as if she knew everything, that little adult-like demeanor, Bronie wanted to tease her a bit.

As for Elysia, the MANTIS of the ancient civilization, a memory that had already died, Bronya could always take a look at it online.

But Bronya had never really thought about what exactly Bronie meant by "meeting face to face."

For example, finding a server room, and then meeting through the screen?

What's the difference between that and meeting directly online?

Bronya couldn't figure it out, but Bronie just kept a mysterious smile, maintaining that air of mystery.

"Alright! Sin, from now on, the position of the head of the orphanage is in your hands! If anyone from outside wants to attack, cut off their hands and feet for me!"

"Huh? Where are you and Bronya going? I want to go too!"

Sin always had a feeling that if she didn't keep up, she'd fall behind.

Given Bronie's favoritism towards Bronya, they must be up to something!

"Go where? What's the point of thinking about fighting and killing all day? Is killing people fun? Go study management. When you join Anti Entropy in the future, I'll give you a back door. Using this method to deal with the Honkai, what's the difference from dealing with the Honkai with fists?"

With that, Bronie directly projected a pile of books, stacking them into a wall, making all the children tremble uncontrollably.

"Nina, Sin listens to you the most. Make sure she studies well, or I'll confiscate Sin's Time Spear!"

"Yes!"

Nina weakly responded. Although she looked soft, Sin was the kind of person who only responded to kindness, not force.

Even when facing Seele, she would just shout a bit, then be glared at by Black Seele, but she still wouldn't yield.

But if it was Nina, she wouldn't do anything even if she said something, but looking at Nina's pitiful expression, Sin could only grumble and comply.

As the saying goes, one thing controls another. Bronya also noticed this, so she often asked Nina to handle Sin's affairs.

This is what they call the art of managing people!

Alright, the conflicts in the orphanage have been resolved, and next is the journey.

Bronya followed behind Bronie, the two of them walking on the street like sisters.

It could be said that this was the first time Bronya had gone so far, away from the orphanage, into the crowd, and even on a plane.

Perhaps out of admiration for her sister Bronie, Bronya dressed in a style reminiscent of Silver Wolf because Bronie said the environment there was hot, so she wore short shorts, tank tops, and fishnet stockings.

If there was a legendary hacker in the network, Bronya believed she could be like the Silver Wolf, similar to Robin beside Batman!

Bronya had quite a few nicknames on the internet.

Such as Metal Gear Bronya, Alloy Bron, or Silver Wolf.

Bronya had heard Bronie say that Otto was a very petty guy. If he found someone with a higher score on Kallen's Fantasy Rankings, he might even ban them just to keep himself in first place.

So Bronya provoked Otto with different accounts time and time again, and she really confirmed that Otto was indeed petty.

Getting off the plane, the hot sun shone on her face, and Bronya couldn't help but squint.

Bronie took out a parasol and opened it with a snap, casting a shadow over Bronya.

"Is Bronie doing this to protect the sacrificial lamb?"

"Haha, yeah, if the fair-skinned Bronya gets sunburned, it would be such a pity!"

Bronya knew that Bronie was joking.

But...

"Does Bronie like fair skin?"

"What?"

"Nothing, is that Su over there?"

Bronie pointed to a nearby person who, although dressed like a tourist, quickly caught Bronya's attention with his green highlights.

The MANTIS of the Previous Era...

The one called Su bearing the name of Bodhi!

No, this person is fifty thousand years old, how is he still alive!?

"Welcome to Egypt, Miss Bronie, and little sister Bronya. So, have you already made up your mind, Little Bronya? Do you really want to participate in the fight against the Honkai? This path is arduous and difficult to have a future on. Is this really what you expect?"

Su looked at Bronya's small figure. It felt like abit when Bronie used to come to Elysian Realm as a child.

But Bronya was brought here by Bronie, while Bronie sneaked in secretly.

And Bronie also knows the truth about the Honkai, is determined to fight against it, and is now on the path of resistance.

Her arrival was like a lighthouse suddenly appearing in the dark sea, guiding the way at the most appropriate time, a path that could truly solve the Honkai!

"This is natural. Bronya has long been prepared. An ordinary life is not what Bronya wants. Fighting against the Honkai is also fulfilling Bronya's self-worth!"

Like a soldier taking an oath, Bronya's eyes surprised Su.

"It seems you have a very wonderful past. No wonder Bronie chose you and met you."

Su just smiled slightly, thinking of the many warriors who had participated in the Fire Moth and ended up as ordinary soldiers on the battlefield against the Honkai.

It was a battlefield doomed to not end well.

"Bronie said that Bronya must be special! And Bronya doesn't want to end up lying in bed all day with a urinary catheter in the future."

Mr. Su frowned.

"Bronie, isn't Bronya still underage?"

"Special circumstances require special treatment. Besides, Bronya has left her mark on that game. Life was not easy before. Before the children in Siberia learned to use a knife and fork, they learned to use a gun. So I judge that Bronya already has her own independent will, a complete set of values, and a positive and optimistic attitude. Cyberpunk this game doesn't influence Bronya."

"Oh... I see..."

"In fact, Bronya just wants to understand why Bronie knows so much about Big Bird's Turn Turn Turn Bar. Bronya is worried that Bronie got lost after entering the gateway to the new world."

"Really... it's sigh-worthy..."

Su naturally knew all this. Although the Previous Era was indeed more advanced, and entertainment was richer.

But Cyberpunk 2077 described by Bronie was a bit too trendy for Su, a 50,000-year-old man.

Perhaps, allowing capitalism to continue developing in this world, when the government has lost its control, it really will become like this?

And Su also started to believe what Bronya said.

After all, the content in the game was indeed a bit wild, much more intense than the Ero games, and even vaguely had the potential to change the entire world.

Whether it was Lucy, Rebecca, or even the old ladies with military technology.

To be honest, Bronya didn't really understand what was good about those old ladies, but as they say, to each their own.

"What have you been doing lately? Haven't you been visiting the Sea of Quanta for surveillance?"

"Kevin over there might not be in a good mood lately, so to avoid being affected by his anger, I temporarily returned to Elysian Realm."

"Uh... not in a good mood? That old popsicle?"

"Yes, very uh... not good."

"Could it be that another past-time segment world was born in the Sea of Quanta based on Kevin's memories, and then he remembered some unpleasant things? Like... hmm, the tragedy of binding?"

"Although he has hardly mentioned the tragedy of the binding, if Kevin were to see such scenes again, he wouldn't be angry. Forget it, it's useless to say so much, let's just go in."

Bronya listened quietly to their conversation, trying to piece together some complete information from it, but as they talked, she saw Su climbing over the fence.

"Wait, isn't this a tourist attraction?"

"Hehe, precisely because places like this are off-limits, they make the best hiding spots!"

"But the relics here..."

Of course, the relics were real!

But Bronya almost forgot that there was civilization fifty thousand years ago, so even if there was something left, it would be considered an antique, right?

So could it be that those programs about approaching science are real?

Like relics from the super ancient era?

Lost in thought, Bronya followed Bronie into the elevator, tightly holding onto the hem of Bronie's skirt.

The elevator didn't know how long it had been running, but Bronya felt like they were descending into a very, very deep underground.

Just as Bronya, this little sniper, was starting to lose patience, the elevator door finally opened with a ding.

"You might feel a bit dizzy next, but it's normal. First-time visitors usually have some side effects, but it will definitely be optimized in the future, right?"

Removing the restless little hand from her skirt, Bronie grabbed Bronya's small hand.

Bronya also looked around, feeling like they were in a passageway in a tomb.

Gloomy, but still somewhat tidy?

"It feels a bit too clean here, right? Every time I leave, I'll clean up a bit. Although this is a historic facility, it feels more like everyone lives here when it's cleaned up, right? And no one can come into contact with this place."

"You're thoughtful, Bronie."

Mr. Su expressed his gratitude, while Bronya felt her head getting dizzier, feeling like she had drunk two bottles of 98% water of life, looking dazed and cute.

"Wow~ Bronya~~"

Elysia hugged Bronya, who was like a big doll, into her arms.

"Ely, give me strength~"

Bronie clasped her hands together in a praying gesture.

"Wait, Elysia? Are you the top ranker on my external account?"

"How's that? The Elysia Cult is flourishing in the current civilization, allowing everyone to feel the beauty of Elly!"

Bronie didn't deny it.

And Elysia smiled helplessly.

"I've received your kindness, but I prefer you to talk to me in person rather than giving rewards online. Come, tell me, 'I love Elysia the most.'"

"Cough cough, Bronya is awake now. Let's talk about it later. Here, I have this for you."

Saying that, Bronie projected a pink tulip into Elysia's hand.

"It's easy to be shy, Bronie, you've never changed. So, little sister, are you awake? Come on, say it with me, one, two, three, three, two, one, I love Elysia the most~"

Chapter 145: (Bronya)Duck into the Tiger's Den

"Three, two, one... No, Bronya clearly remembers..."

Bronya gradually regained consciousness but quickly entered a state of alertness, cautiously eyeing the Miss Pink Elf in front of her.

Just as Bronya was somewhat bewildered and at a loss, a familiar small hand was placed on her head, and Bronya realized that Bronie was right beside her.

"Welcome to the Elysian Realm. Here, it's a world composed of the memories and cognition of the Thirteen Flamechasers of the ancient civilization. Although everyone here is indeed a memory replica from the surface, I consider it as the continuation of their lives, and also the capital I use in the future to resurrect them."

Referring to it as capital sounds a bit strange, but Elysia couldn't wait to get close to Bronya, occupying Bronya's entire field of vision.

"Hi~ Lovely girl~"

"You... hello..."

Bronya obviously wasn't quite used to this closeness, and she shyly leaned towards Bronie, cautiously observing her surroundings.

Not all the Flamechasers are in the lounge of the Elysian Realm.

Most of the time, everyone has their own things to do. Vill-V has her own experiments, Mobius is pondering resurrection plans, Griseo is constantly drawing, and Kosma finally got a game to pass the time during these fifty thousand years.

And the most frequent visitors in the lounge are naturally Elysia and Miss Eden.

The two always maintain a keen curiosity towards outsiders.

Eden wants to know about the development of art in the outside world, while Elysia is hunting for beautiful girls.

And today, it seems that only Miss Eden, Elysia, and Mr. Su who welcomed Bronie and Bronya are in the lounge.

Since Su and the memory bodies inside the Elysian Realm merged, there are no more memory replica of Su inside the Elysian Realm, unless the future Su wants to put memory replica into the Elysian Realm.

Of course, everything that Su experiences in the Elysian Realm is clear to the real-world Su.

Strictly speaking, it's like activating a fusion card to merge the Elysian Realm-Su and the real-world Su. Originally, they were the same person.

"Generally speaking, the Elysian Realm is a trial ground prepared by an organization called the World Serpent outside. Their Agents undergo self-transformation to prepare for the trial, a place to strengthen their hearts against Honkai, and also to enhance themselves through the Signets of the Flamechasers."

"So, this is a place like a mental training house?"

Bronya's judgment was not wrong, but Bronie didn't immediately answer Bronya's question, but took out a small strap.

"It's almost like that, but don't worry, I believe in your combat abilities, and all along, you've just lacked a suitable weapon. After ether editing and data compression, this Project Bunny 19c has the ability to fight independently and judge Honkai beasts at an adjudication level. I hope you can use this weapon well to protect your loved ones."

A familiar feeling entered her mind, and Bronya realized that the so-called sensation of neural connection in the Genesis System was actually the preheating of controlling the Project Bunny!

Bronie had been practicing her connection with machines since she made the game, and now taking over this Project Bunny, there was no sense of dissonance at all.

It was like when Bronya secretly took the Genesis System and projection to directly test drive a Titan, she felt that the operation felt a bit realistic, which made her have many doubts.

"Project Bunny!"

With Bronya's call, a huge robot appeared behind her, with some gear-style details on its two huge arms, giving it a feeling of Vill-V's work. Red and white mecha, black-gold gloves, there was an indescribable coolness in it. Bronya was immediately attracted by the Project Bunny given by Bronie.

"Wow~ such a cool robot, what about mine! Bronie, what about mine!"

Elysia also wanted one. This made Bronie a bit embarrassed.

Alright, indeed, Bronie didn't prepare any robots for Elysia.

After all, Elysia only needs to be beautiful, so what's the need for highly aggressive mechas?

After much thought, since Elysia reached out for something, Bronie felt obliged to give her something.

What would be a good gift? Something that would make Elysia happy...

"I've got it!"

With that, Bronie started projecting.

A peach-colored skirt gradually took shape, then was wrapped in a gift box. Next came an even more important peach tree branch decoration, also projected.

"Flowers match the beauty, I thought you'd like this skirt."

"Wow!"

Elysia excitedly accepted the gift box, then gave Bronie a deep hug.

"You and Bronya can go try challenging the data bodies inside; I'll be back in a bit!"

With that, Elysia left the lounge with the gift box, seemingly heading deeper into the Elysian Realm.

Meanwhile, Bronya had no idea what was going on, just standing around Project Bunny.

"Eden, if we go deeper into the Elysian Realm, won't there be any other challengers?"

"Of course not, even Kalpas hasn't been very active lately. Everyone's been playing Cyberpunk 2077; there's a lot to explore in there, the city details are very well done, and the punk spirit has really got to me."

Eden probably wasn't fond of the punk style; she was more of a classical artist.

Sakura might be the one who likes punk more?

"Just a simple nostalgia for home, nothing else. Oh, Eden, this is for you!"

With that, Bronie produced a bottle of wine.

"Oh?"

"I happened to ask Otto if he had any wine in his collection, and he gave me this. I may not be able to taste it, but I carefully preserved all the data!"

"How thoughtful. Well then, go ahead, take Bronya to explore the Elysian Realm. Do you need me to guide Bronya?"

Eden always felt that no work should go unrewarded, so she volunteered to guide Bronya instead of Elysia.

However, Bronie just shook her head. "I'm quite familiar with the Elysian Realm, so Eden, you don't need to trouble yourself."

Seeing Bronie being so polite, Eden nodded silently, eager to open the wine and savor the legendary collection of the Archbishop.

Bronya was also quite impressed. During online classes, Vocal teacher Eden was confident, elegant, just like a superstar.

But Bronya never expected that behind that elegance, there was a drunkard!

A bit surprising, but Bronya didn't find it worth being too amazed.

She was more curious about the depths of the Elysian Realm.

After acquiring Project Bunny, she would face trials! Almost entirely realistic simulated combat trials!

"Let's go, Bronya, let's give this Project Bunny a try, and there will also be some content about driver's license exams later. Remember, the Project Bunny can transform into a motorcycle, to avoid traffic accidents in the future, it's good for you, and for others to take those exams."

"Awesome!" Bronya was thrilled at the idea of riding a motorcycle. Indeed, for a while, Bronya wanted to try extreme sports, but later realized her body couldn't handle it.

"Next, you'll be entering the depths of the Elysian Realm. Delving into it means your brain and consciousness will deeply connect with the memories and cognition of the heroes. Although it may burden your body to some extent, the improvement in combat prowess is significant, and it also allows you to feel the power of the Honkai in a safe environment."

"Bronya is ready!"

Though unsure of the Project Bunny's maximum combat capabilities, Bronya was confident.

Mainly because she trusted Bronie and the weapons Bronie prepared.

Indeed, in Honkai Impact 3rd, Bronya had trouble joining battles due to her physical condition and could only fight by controlling Project Bunny.

But here, Brony didn't have such worries.

The non-existent jealousy of cute Sin was not an issue.

If she really had to kick someone in the skirt she usually wore, that would be quite embarrassing. Sin, because of her gorgeous skirt, would become shy and timid, not daring to make too many bold moves to expose her skirt's shade.

So Bronya didn't have the issue of leg disabilities.

Approaching the teleportation gate to the depths of the Elysian Realm, Bronya once again felt that dizzy sensation.

Though expected, the dizziness felt like wasabi up her nose, the taste lingering and unstoppable, putting her back into a dizzy state.

"You'll get used to it, but initially delving into the Elysian Realm indeed comes with side effects. Also, if you want to leave a memory body in the Elysian Realm, the experience will be even worse. Well, what are your thoughts on the scenery before you?"

Bronya slowly opened her eyes to a pink sea of flowers.

Bizarre scenes pieced together, countless physics-defying buildings hung in the air, trees without roots bloomed with pink flowers, as if all the beauty in the world had converged here.

"What about Bronya's original body?"

Bronya cared about this! This was unexpected for Bronie.

"Well... don't worry too much. Within the Elysian Realm, the boundary between illusion and reality isn't as bad as you imagine. In the lounge, we've actually established a connection with the Elysian Realm, so when we delve deeper, our bodies outside will be properly taken care of."

"I see..." Bronya felt assured; indeed, this wasn't the real world anymore, and the unreal scenes before her could perhaps be turned into a game?

"I bet you're wondering what kind of game this technology would make, right?"

"Exactly!"

"In reality, there would be a lot of bugs because this world is constructed from the cognition of other memory bodies mixing, containing many fragmented pieces of information. If there's a technological breakthrough in the future, making it into a game wouldn't be impossible! But first, we need to deal with the Honkai!"

"I understand. Humans will definitely overcome the Honkai to create a new generation of games!"

"Exactly! Humans will definitely overcome the Honkai! Alright, enough with the slogans. The trials stored in the Elysian Realm are more like training simulations. If you encounter other preset characters within the Elysian Realm, you can ask them for a Signet."

"What's a Signet then?" Bronie tilted her head cutely. Then Bronya's gaze shifted to Elysia not far away.

"A Signet can be seen as something similar to fate for the Flamechasers, containing their life choices, experiences, and subconscious thoughts. However, most of it is cognitive and subconscious, different heroes have different Signets, and the specific effects will also vary."

In short, it's an important item or ability that constitutes the elements of the trial. Bronie nodded repeatedly, indicating her understanding.

"Let me tell you, Elysia has prepared forty different opening lines for these preset characters!"

With that, Bronya led Bronie to Elysia.

"Oh yeah, Bronie has heard each of them!"

"Wow, Bronya, I thought you went somewhere to change clothes."

"The first time giving an Signet to Bronya, it has to be more ceremonial! And with Bronya being so cute, how could I be so casual?"

Saying that, Elysia approached Bronya, getting close. "Hehe, this place really is paradise, with so many cute girls~ Come on, kiss my cheek, and then I'll give you the Signet~"

"Wait, Elysia, I remember you don't need to go through all this trouble to give an Signet!"

"Aww, so does Bronie want one too?"

"Bronya keenly felt the danger from Elysia; if Elysia didn't want to give Bronya an Signet, Bronya could continue on her own."

Most importantly, she didn't know the maximum combat power of the Project Bunny, so Bronie thought there was no rush for this so-called Signet.

As for Elysia's kiss request? Bronya believed Bronya's care was more important, and Elysia was a very dangerous person who could snatch away her Bronya at any moment!

The huge palm of the Project Bunny stood up, making a gesture of refusal.

"Was I too hasty? Well, it's okay. We'll have many opportunities to get to know each other in the future! But did your Sister Bronie tell you anything?"

"Bronie said that rather than subjective descriptions with strong desires, firsthand experience is more genuine."

"Right! Bronya is quite insightful! So as a reward, the Signet goes to Bronya! Take your time to adapt; I'll be waiting for you at the finish line!"

Chapter 146 Duck Responsible for Quack Quack, Little Bunny Responsible for Ora Ora

As a newcomer to the Elysian Realm, the difficulty of the trial would be more or less reduced.

This is understandable because the first time entering the Elysian Realm, the first thing to do is to conduct a preliminary test, and then better specify the overall difficulty of the trial in order to achieve the best training effect.

Elysia turned around and gave Bronya a real Signet, which was not unexpected to Bronya, but Elysia seemed to have something to do.

After giving the Signet, she hurriedly left.

Now it's time for Bronya and Bronie!

Entering the first door, the monsters that appeared were some simple training robots.

These robots were used by the previous era's civilization to test MANTIS Soldiers. They are basically out of production and have very low combat power. However, they are still quite suitable for testing Bronya!

Yes, looking at Bronya so young, everyone felt sorry for her.

When Bronie encountered the Honkai beast when she first came up, it was completely because Bronie claimed to be a traveler of the Quantum Sea at the time.

Would Vill-V believe such a thing?

She believed half at the time, so she brought out the relatively threatening Honkai beasts.

But this time Bronya is different.

"Project Bunny 19c! Greet them with your fists!"

Project Bunny appeared, and its huge fists slammed down fiercely.

This probing attack usually doesn't have much power, but it should be more than enough to deal with a seemingly weak opponent like a Marvin robot.

It's just that Bronya never expected that after receivung a punch, it would still be able to continue fighting!

"Training robots have no advantages, but they are tough. Their simple structure means that even if they are damaged, they still have combat power. Bronya underestimated them~"

"Bronya just wasn't familiar with the operating mode of Project Bunny, this time Bronya won't make the same mistake again!"

Project Bunny directly performed an "Ora Ora", easily solving the robots in front of it.

Next came a group of zombies.

Pale skin, trembling body, and those huge sickles, Bronya frowned slightly.

"Are these the zombies that Bronya sister mentioned?"

"Through the enhancement of the Honkai, the strength of the zombies also fluctuates greatly. This is the easiest place to be careless. Many frontline warriors died under the joint attack of the Honkai beasts and the zombies, so Bronya you must be careful."

"Um, Bronya will regulate the energy distribution of Project Bunny well."

Facing these zombies, Project Bunny could easily solve them, but as for the judging the strength of the Honkai beasts and zombies, it had to rely entirely on Bronya herself.

The output problem of Project Bunny is indeed quite troublesome to a certain extent. Too much output is not suitable for prolonged combat, and too low output efficiency is too low.

But this is only the first level. The subsequent zombies were easily crushed by Bronya, and the last zombie was eliminated by Bronya herself with a gun.

"Oh, remember if you kill zombies outside, remember to handle their bodies. Project Bunny is equipped with a Honkai energy suppressant extraction device, which can extract a small amount of Honkai from the zombies' bodies."

"Ah?"

Bronya never expected this.

"In the previous civilization, the extraction process of Honkai energy suppressant completely relied on the sacrifice of ordinary people infected with Honkai energy. About five hundred people extracted one person's share? But later, when there were more zombies, suppressants were not so used as much anymore."

"This is indeed a cruel fact..."

This was something Bronya had never heard of before. Could it be that the suppressant Bronie had given to Rosalia and Lilia before was that kind?

Seeing Bronya seemed to be thinking about something, Bronie continued, "Lilia and Rosalia didn't use that kind of suppressant. Later, Mobius improved the production process of suppressants, and the Project Stigma for fifty thousand years produced a very peculiar special blood, known as Schariac's Holy Blood in Shicksal."

Kiana has that thing in her body, and the same goes for Durandal. And Otto has been researching that thing for almost five hundred years.

Therefore, after Mobius took over that thing, she also sighed that if this blood had been discovered in the previous civilization, where would there be so many troubles?

Whenever a Herrscher appeared, everyone would just inject the Herrscher with it.

Under the high concentration of Honkai energy, they would either die directly or still have meager power to resist. Would it be their turn to be bombed by nuclear bombs then?

It's a pity that things are unpredictable.

"I see, has there been any progress in the technology of suppressants? What would happen if this kind of suppressant is injected into a Herrscher's body?"

Bronya cares quite a bit about Kiana, and whenever she thinks about the suppressant, she can't help but think about Kiana's current state.

Everyone knows she's a Herrscher, except Kiana herself isn't quite clear on that.

"The power of a Herrscher will temporarily disappear, and the body will become somewhat like that of an ordinary person. Okay, every time you pass a level, you'll be given a chance to try the Signets of other Flamechasers. This is to help your body and mind better adapt to the Signets of the Flamechasers. The next one is Mr. Su."

As she speaks, Bronya follows Bronie's gaze and looks at the figure that suddenly appears not far away.

"Hello Bronie and Miss Bronya"

Su looks like he's come over temporarily and hasn't put his preset self there.

In simple terms, Su's Signet is the least burdensome Signet, usually given to visitors first. Bronya only triggered something like a program similar to the successor metamorphosis plan.

"Although it doesn't show Bronya's own combat abilities, this Project Bunny will accompany Bronya in future battles. It can also be considered as part of her own combat power, right?"

"Hehehe, don't worry, I won't give you a Signet yet, Miss Bronya. When Bronie stepped into the Elysian Realm, her qualifications were almost displayed before us. She has the ability to bear such power."

Su smiles, as calm as ever, giving people the feeling of a retired old man walking his birds.

"I'm not worried. Even if she can't bear the Signet for now, I can prepare more combat means for Bronya. Whether it's a giant robot or the power of a new Stigmata, well, forget about these nonexistent things. Here you go!"

As she speaks, Bronie takes out a huge box, and Su takes this heavy box and sees the pattern of tea sets on it.

"I always feel that you might like tea more, so I brought some good tea and tea sets from Shenzhou. I hope you like them."

"Bronie, have you always been so polite?"

Su is a bit helpless.

Actually, this gift is a bit too polite.

But the hand that received the gift didn't stop.

It could be seen that Mr. Su really liked tea.

"This is not too polite. I just think it's necessary courtesy. After all, Bronya is not a member of the World Serpent."

"The World Serpent... Hehe, Project Stigma plan is still in execution, this won't change. I won't change completely either. The reason I stopped Kevin was just because I thought Kevin was a bit unreasonable. The Project Stigma was implemented too early, that's all."

Now the Third Eruption is being calculated, and there is still hope for the future to cross the end, but as the saying goes, don't put all your eggs in one basket. So, in rationaly, Su did not stop the World Serpent's Project Stigma.

"Then goodbye for now~ The difficulty of the next level will be raised a bit. The Project Bunny design was originally meant to deal with a fully powered Herrscher, so don't worry about any small cats or dogs hurting Bronya."

"Okay, next, there will be zombies and Honkai beasts inside, all constructed with special Honkai energy, which will create some interesting effects under that field."

Interesting?

This sounds like something Vill-V would say.

But since Vill-V said it was interesting, Bronie probably could guess what those things were.

It's nothing more than HP bars, effect resistance, or something like a hegemonic shield.

Bronie still can't remember what effects those affixes in the Honkai 3 have. Basically, they're all about big bricks flying over.

As for the affixes in the Honkai 2?

Forget it, those things are just too absurd, sometimes dying inexplicably under the affixes, not even sure which affix killed them.

Bronya continues to advance. She discovers that she can ride on Project Bunny using its big hands, making it her transportation tool without becoming a motorcycle.

This method effectively hides the fact that she has short legs.

"Activate the traction module."

"Launch the destruction punch."

"Try the overload module, give it a punch!"

In the next level, Titans, Honkai beasts, zombies, and monsters from the Sea of Quanta all appear simultaneously, indicating that the difficulty has definitely been adjusted by Su.

Seeing so many monsters, Bronya doesn't hesitate to activate the traction module and gather all the monsters together.

With one punch, countless enemies die or are injured, and even the ground trembles violently, as if triggering a huge earthquake.

"Wow."

Bronya used to be quite cautious, but this time she has more monsters to deal with, so she increases the power of Project Bunny's manipulation slightly.

And the effect is naturally very shocking.

The shock of this punch, like an explosive punch, even Bronya's heart trembles along with it.

To sum it up in one word, that would be?

Cool!

"Quantum Shadow is somewhat more bizarre in a way. However, when designing it initially, I also thought of this, so when the traction module is executed, it will automatically analyze the enemies in front and activate the jet to interfere with the state of the quantum shadow, causing it to Honkai."

"And directly creating a Space Time Fracture can also make the opponent collapse, right?"

After enjoying a wave of excitement, Bronya still remembers many points of knowledge.

When she truly engages in battle, Bronya realizes that the Project Bunny given to her by Bronie has considered almost all possible problems.

"That's it. When the battle is over, the power of the Signet will also be enhanced. Have you seen the icon on the teleporter over there? This leaf pattern represents the enhancement of Bodhi's Signet. In the future, you will encounter more Signets, but not all Signets are suitable for you, so you need to carefully consider which Signets you are more familiar with."

"I see..."

"Next, there will be a small timed challenge. If you can solve all the enemies within a certain time, the power of the Signet will be increased."

"Um... Bronya feels the power of the Signet. Bodhi's Signet seems to be able to enhance battlefield analysis, while also having the consciousness to probe and find multiple points of the enemy... This is a combat awareness that Bronya has never had before."

That's quite right.

"It seems like you're quite adaptable to the power of the Signet. Then let's go!"

"Okay!"

Connected with Project Bunny's nervous system, when there was a certain thought in the battle, Project Bunny would execute it.

And this kind of fighting method requires the cleanest of thoughts, without any clutter, which is something others cannot do.

The Genesis System has some quirks too, but Bronya can still make a complete game, which also shows that Bronya does have strong combat talent!

That mechanical-like rationality will not generate chaotic thoughts during the battle because of any external objects.

The timed challenge was easily won, and the teleporter that followed was marked with a bright red color, looking ominous.

"Next is the boss challenge. Are you confident?"

"What will be inside?"

"I don't know, maybe it'san elite, maybe it's a judgment-level Honkai beast, or maybe it's an extremely oversized Homu."

"Wait? Why would there be a Homu!?"

"Because that's what Elysia requested~"

"...Alright, Bronya is ready!"

The battle didn't consume much physical strength, at most it was a lot of mental energy consumed under concentrated attention.

Bronya tentatively reached out and touched the next teleporter.

Opening her eyes, she saw a place full of pink crystal flowers.

In the center of that stage, Elysia changed into a brand-new outfit and stood there.

"Sorry, this time I'm here to dance with you~ Since we have such beautiful new clothes, how could I not wear them~ But, Bronya!"

"Hmm?"

"I really like it!"

"Like what?"

"Hehe~ Can you guess?"

Chapter 147: Duck Duck Super Strengthening!

Like a mermaid in the sea, or a magical girl wielding miracles.

When Elysia changed into a new outfit with a spring peach blossom color, she found that her battle effects had increased!

Can this be tolerated? Can this not be used?

So, at the end of the level, Elysia asked Kalpas to watch from the side and let her try out this new outfit herself.

And what about Bronya?

When Bronya was wiping out a large group of Honkai beasts and death warriors, not to mention how inflated her heart was, she felt that the Project Bunny given to her by Bronie, even when encountering Flamechasers, still had the power to fight!

Then Bronie was stunned. With flexible combat stances, flashy effects, and constantly switching combat styles, Bronie was momentarily thrown into a state of confusion, unable to even attempt to counterattack.

It was more like playing around than fighting. Bronie's mindset underwent some changes.

"It's really beautiful..."

"Thank you for the praise~ Although Bronie sister can always maintain her composure in battle and analyze the opponent's fighting style, she still lacks a lot of experience in fighting against people~" Once she made a fake move, Bronie would fall right into the trap, which Elysia found somewhat strange.

"That's because Bronie's previous opponents were still within the range of normal people, but Elysia sister's superhuman level is something Bronie has never seen before... And... the Herrscher of Origin?"

Bronie never expected that Elysia would be a Herrscher of the ancient civilization!

Didn't they say that the Herrschers of the ancient civilization destroyed the ancient civilization?

Why is Elysia, as a Herrscher of the ancient civilization, still able to spend nearly fifty thousand years laughing and joking with these Flamechasers of the ancient civilization?

Although Bronie had many doubts in her mind, Elysia asked Bronie to make friends with the other Flamechasers and piece together the truth of the ancient civilization from their mouth.

It was a small puzzle game, a traditional program of the Elysian Realm.

"Isn't it amazing? The Herrscher of Origin, although no one knows the specific powers, I prefer to believe that Elysia is a miracle of the universe, capable of displaying all the beauty of the world just by existing there. Come, say it with me: Elly~"

ᗜ ‸ ᗜ

Well, Bronie's half-step backward movement was probably serious.

But then Bronie saw a masked man next to Bronie.

"Excuse me, who is this?"

"Kalpas, a very gentle Flamechaser, possessing the Signet of Decimation, capable of giving people tremendous courage."

"Hehe, gentle? In our next spar, I will slowly tear apart your boring illusions, then tear off all your limbs and feed them to the Honkai beasts! Also, please don't make games like Getting Over It again next time."

"You see, he even knows how to say please!" Ignoring the aura emanating from Kalpas completely, Bronie pointed to Kalpas beside her, completely ignoring Kalpas's aura.

Bronya was already frightened.

"It seems that Kalpas is in a good mood today. Bronie, what did you give Kalpas?"

"I didn't give him anything. I just thought of making a set of Galahad assembly models. I think Kalpas might be interested."

"Is that so?"

As soon as Elysia heard it was a robot model, she immediately understood what Bronie was thinking.

Men will be boys until they die, and all interests surpass the sky!

Elysia understood.

"You care too much!"

Hearing Kalpas's response like this, Elysia immediately knew that Bronie had hit Kalpas's sweet spot.

She didn't expect, she really didn't expect, Kalpas actually likes this kind of gift.

Can she also make a similar gift in the future and give it away?

"Let's end today's testing session here. Bronya's body is quite excellent in terms of adapting to the signets, but there may be some deficiencies in combat awareness."

"Bronya thinks that the combat awareness Bronya lacks is actually against opponents with special abilities and intelligence. If they were ordinary people, Honkai beasts, or death warriors, Bronya wouldn't lose!"

"Did you hear that, Elysia? Next, prepare some Judgment-Class Honkai beasts or Vipralopa-Class Honkai beasts. If possible, bring out a Planet-Class Honkai beast."

"Planet-level Honkai beasts only exist in theory. As for whether they really exist, it's hard to say. The Elysian Realm currently doesn't have the resources or capabilities to reproduce or even create such monsters. Or is it that Bronie, you have very high confidence in the Project Bunny you created yourself?"

Vill-V hurriedly stopped Bronie's flight of fancy, but this time she didn't appear in the form of magic.

"Are you... The Conductor?"

"Wow, you've become familiar with everyone so quickly?"

The Conductor was relatively serious. She was the closest to the original personality of Vill-V and also had control over the other personalities. If there was a personality within Vill-V's body that wanted to betray them, The Conductor would likely be the first target.

"Because all of you are in my heart."

"Elysia, did you teach her how to speak nicely?"

Although The Conductor didn't buy into this, she was still somewhat impressed.

It had a taste of Elysia in it.

"Doesn't it just make us Bronya cute and sweet?"

Elysia bounced around, hugged Bronya as if showing off a new doll she had just bought, and had some intimate contact with Bronie while showing off her new outfit.

"Elysia, stop..."

"Bronie, bad!"

Elysia quickly separated from Bronya, and seeing Bronie's mischievous smile, Elysia couldn't help but pinch Bronya's face.

"Alright, let me introduce everyone. This is Bronie's adopted child, Bronya Zaychek. She's here to train a bit today in the Elysian Realm. The first phase of the plan to combat the Honkai is about to begin, and for the next period of time, we might not have as much leisure as before!"

When Bronie brought Bronya to the Elysian Realm, it meant that the plan to combat the Honkai had begun in earnest.

From the birth of the Third Herrscher, the next step was to engage in a battle with the entire civilization, relying solely on tacit understanding.

The will of the Honkai was the artificial intelligence No.17 projected by Mobius in the previous era, now known as Prometheus No.17.

To verify this specifically, it would require verification when the Third Honkai and the Third Herrscher arrived.

If it could be discovered that the so-called consciousness of the Herrscher could be communicated with through a special electromagnetic field, it would be enough to explain everything.

At least according to the intelligence Bronie provided, there weren't many mistakes, but it still needed verification.

As the step-by-step verification ended and all the plans proceeded as originally planned, the moment the Eleventh Herrscher, the Herrscher of Binding, arrived, it would also be the moment of the Flamechaser's resurrection!

But the beginning of everything was difficult.

When the Third Honkai was indeed about to erupt, Elysia felt a little nervous.

"It's a pity for Sister Sin~"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Bronie didn't understand what Bronya meant.

"Such an important plan, Sister Sin knows nothing about it. Isn't that interesting?"

Faced with Bronya's mischief, Bronie just patted Bronya's head a few times.

"Naughty, not telling her about these plans is to protect her, keep her away from the center of the plan, so she won't be manipulated by Otto. Archbishop Otto is the kind of guy who sacrifices others' lives without any psychological pressure. If he wants to control or threaten me, you are my biggest weakness in my heart."

"And me?"

Elysia also came over.

"You too. Everyone in the Elysian Realm is the same. Maybe Otto will prepare an underground nuclear bomb, destroying everything underground to threaten me. That's why I haven't told Otto the exact location of the Elysian Realm."

Originally, Otto sent Fu Hua over, hoping to get some words out of her, out of old affection.

But unfortunately, Fu Hua was honest, she wasn't stupid.

She knew which side was more important.

Even if Otto threatened with Shenzhou, the final outcome would only be the plan getting out of control, and Otto would never have a chance to cooperate with the Flamechaser again.

"I see, so be careful of Otto, right?"

"Bronya, the world is not black and white. The Valkyries of Schicksal are indeed at the forefront of fighting the Honkai, and the entire organization of Schicksal is also mostly correct. What you need to be careful of is Otto himself and his direct subordinates, as they are most likely to carry out orders directly from Otto, which may do things that could harm you."

Bronie was giving a precautionary warning, although Bronya inherited some of Bronie's hacking techniques, it wasn't enough against Schicksal.

Schicksal couldn't deal with Bronie because Bronie herself had special abilities.

But Bronya was different. Before becoming a Herrscher, Bronya was relatively weak. The existence of Project Bunny was like a ticket to enter the plot.

"Bronya understands."

"Make sure to protect yourself."

Elysia also reminded, apparently she seemed to know Bronie's plan. Bronya was basically kept in the dark about many things, but she trusted Bronie.

The time left for Bronya was about two months.

During this time, Bronie let go of the Hackerspace and the idea of making games, devoting herself entirely to training Bronya and supplementing her self-knowledge.

Under the guidance of various Flamechaseres, Bronya's judgment on the battlefield greatly improved, and even the tacit understanding with the Project Bunny reached a level of unity between man and machine.

If facing a Herrscher, Bronya was almost invincible, especially now that the Herrschers' powers were basically set, and their intelligence was unparalleled!

Bronya thought she could do anything.

In the past two months, not many signets were sent to Bronya, just a few. One Decimation, one Ego, one Visiccitude, one Bodhi, and then Gold and Deliverance.

There weren't many signets that matched Bronya.

Although Bronie said that the Signet and the Stars had the greatest power, and the Spiral Signet had more functionalities, unfortunately, Bronya didn't have the chance to come into contact with any of them.

After all, powerful abilities often came with more severe side effects.

The Discipline, for example, once drove Fu Hya mad, and countless soldiers as well, so Aponia almost refused to give anyone the Signet of the Discipline.

As they neared their departure from the Elysian Realm, Bronie sat in the lounge, accompanying Eden.

Eden sang the ballads of the Scarborough imprintet, while Elysia watched quietly beside them.

Bronya underwent her final trial. She challenged various special enemies, such as the Husk Nihilius, Mysticism, Tonatiuh, or Belialus.

After challenging these giant enemies, she sparred with the Flamechasers.

Mobius claimed to be a scientist with little combat power, but Bronya found herself most easily defeated by him.

Instead, Kiana, Elysia, Aponia, and Kevin were relatively gentle, and basically let Bronya win.

But each victory for Bronya was very difficult, as if everyone was pushing themselves to their limits just to avoid disappointing themselves. Although everything was seamless on the surface.

After a day of exhaustion, returning to the lounge, Bronya was stunned to see such a peaceful scene.

"Bronie, do you have any plans to make a new game recently?"

"Huh?"

The music stopped, and Bronie never expected that after Bronya came out, she would talk about this!

"Yeah yeah! Bronie hasn't made a game for a long time! Kiana really likes your Cyberpunk 2077, and after reaching max level, she's been causing chaos in the game every day."

Elysia seemed to have lost her patience, expecting to see Bronie's creative process in the Elysian Realm, but didn't expect Bronie to either play with everyone or study in the Elysian Realm.

Elysia felt too embarrassed to disturb Bronie.

"About the game... let's wait until after we return for the New Year. The Cyberpunk online mode from the Haxxor Bunny Studio is almost ready. Let's think about making a new game after that."

Bronie thought that the busy trial life had made Bronya forget about games, but when Bronya brought it up, both Eden and Elysia seemed to have been holding back for a long time and finally asked.

"The plan to fight the Honkai is not something you have to accomplish alone, so don't feel too much pressure. It's not enough to make you completely give up making games. Is it that Night City makes you miss your hometown too much and needs our comfort?"

During this period, Eden didn't think Bronie had anything to be unhappy about, so Eden judged that Bronie wasn't the type to dwell on past things.

So if it wasn't dwelling on the past, it was likely that the plan was about to become a reality, and pressure was starting to build.

Although Eden wasn't sure where this great pressure was coming from.

And only Bronie herself knew where this pressure came from. Changing Schicksal meant accepting the consequences of changing Schicksal.

Preventing tragedy might also hinder the growth of the protagonists.

The so-called growth was not about growing in power, but psychologically.

Both Kiana and Bronya had obtained great power, but psychologically, it might not be optimistic.

To be honest, Bronie didn't know what to do, but... she had to try, right?

In the end, it turned into some nagging, some preaching, and some advice.

Maybe... she could also convey it in her own way? Just like—

"Okay, I know what kind of game I should make now. Cyberpunk 2077 emits too much negative energy. This time, I should make something positive and uplifting... Hmm... let's call it Persona!"

Chapter 148: Three Duck Sheds

When it comes to masks, Bronie always thinks of the Masked Fools, an organization that walks the Path of Elation.

The so-called persona is actually composed of masks, and each mask represents one's sub-personality or a facet of personality.

This system is based on individuals' coping mechanisms with the outside world, ensuring that they can get along harmoniously with others, even those they don't like, and it can help achieve personal purposes and clarify personal goals.

However, when a person becomes overly enthusiastic and indulgent in the role they play, only identifying with the role played by one mask, then other parts of the personality will be rejected, causing harm to mental health.

This is a psychological problem and another manifestation of self-awareness.

Eden is quite puzzled when this concept is turned into a game.

"Speaking of Eden, do you like jazz rock?"

Immediately after, Bronie asked Eden this question, pulling Eden back from the contemplation of personas, and then thinking about rock music.

"As for rock music, even in the previous civilization, there were many genres. If our definitions of rock music are not different, I don't dislike music that releases emotions through melodies and shouts out one's thoughts with simple lyrics."

Not dislike, but probably not like it either?

"Sorry, Cyberpunk 2077 may have given you a somewhat bad impression."

"Haha, the rock music of the Samurai Band is indeed more avant-garde, but I quite like the spirit of rebellion contained within it. It seems that in the new game, you will have to prepare to make more rock music again? I think Sakura should be very happy."

Among the Flamechasers, Sakura is the one who loves rock music and anime the most.

Although usually quite dull, Sakura seems to have a bit of a shy side?

Bronie still couldn't understand how to turn the so-called personality masks into games, but this time, the game theme was probably inspired by the gift sent by The Elation?

"This is the last peaceful year. I will take Bronie back for the New Year now. After you can completely leave the Elysian Realm, let's get together properly!"

"Be sure to keep in touch, Bronie."

Watching Bronie's back, although she felt very reluctant, Elysia had actually become accustomed to Bronie's departure.

Everyone has their own things to do, everyone has their own dreams.

Elysia had no reason to stop Bronie from doing these things.

If only she could share more of Bronie's pressure, but unfortunately, after observing Bronie for half a day, Elysia still found it difficult to determine the source of Bronie's psychological pressure.

Fighting power?

Bronie confidently said that even if Kevin from outside came out, she could still have a back-and-forth with him.

Although she wouldn't win, she probably wouldn't lose either.

As for the plans to be executed?

These plans were formulated by Eden and Otto.

Even the World Serpent might not be able to stop everyone's footsteps. Bronie was very confident in the plans she made herself, so why did she feel pressured again?

Elysia couldn't understand, but when Bronie mentioned the name of the new game, Elysia had a new idea.

Personality masks, that is to say, Bronie is worried that some people around her are psychologically immature.

They may not have too many goals or beliefs of their own. When this kind of immature mentality is added to the plan, it may cause some irreparable consequences.

Just like the sacrifices Kevin once faced.

In the end, perhaps for the purpose of saving the world, something will be abandoned, something will be sacrificed.

Bronie loves them too much, so much so that she wants to protect them all with her own power, just like Aponia.

Little did she know that some of her indulgent behaviors might be the culprit behind all this.

However, the children of the orphanage are still very young now. After everyone has grown up, they can consider separate issues.

Now Elysia can only watch. She probably understands the pressure in Bronie's heart, but unfortunately, there is really nothing she can do.

After a quiet farewell kiss, Elysia said that if Bronie was tired, she could come back to the Elysian Realm, where Elysia could provide her with a comforting embrace to help Bronie relax.

And Bronie also regretfully bid farewell to Elysia, leaving the Elysian Realm again after leaving behind another quantum rose.

The game stayed in the Elysian Realm, bringing a lot of joy to the Flamechasers, and Bronie's departure also left everyone feeling a little regretful.

Through Cyberpunk 2077, Bronie showcased her hometown to everyone, allowing them to understand more about Bronie.

So everyone is clear that Bronie will never stop. If you want Bronie to relax a bit, the best way is to help her fight, accompany her in battle, and make her feel she is not alone.

Kosma, being clumsy with words, could only give Bronie her favorite manga.

Pardo expressed deep sympathy for Bronie's past and talked to her a lot about Sundown Alley, feeling a sense of camaraderie.

Kalpas was very enthusiastic and fought with Bronie several times, but he also realized that he might not be able to beat Bronie anymore.

But he was happy because Bronie getting stronger means it's easier to fight against the Honkai!

As for the feeling of happiness, it was deduced by Bronie after studying Kalpas' mask.

Actually, Kalpas is quite easy to understand.

Aponia always stayed in the Deep End. When Bronie visited, she opened her arms and embraced Bronie warmly.

The huge cotton candy hell allowed Bronie to rest well and indeed brought great relaxation to her mind.

Aponia expressed that this was the only thing she could do. If the plan to fight against the Honkai ended in a disaster, all Aponia could do was pray.

Well, she's still as pessimistic as ever.

Hua is no longer in the Elysian Realm, so Miss Sakura lost someone she could chat with frequently. And Su also hasn't been in the Elysian Realm for a long time, making Sakura feel a bit lonely.

But things aren't as bad as they seem.

At least Bronie once said that after the third great collapse, the former Herrscher, Sakura's sister, will awaken again, so there may be a chance for a reunion in the future.

This is indeed something Sakura can look forward to.

With games, anime, and her favorite music, Sakura feels less lonely during this time.

Bronie finally returned to the orphanage with Bronya.

The children of the orphanage missed Bronie and Bronya very much during the two months they were away.

But this time, when Bronya returned to the orphanage, she acted like a child queen, seemingly inflated with pride due to the training and inheritance she received during this time.

It's good to be happy. After rigorous testing by Bronie, Bronya's combat power is undisputed.

After all, facing battles with Elysia, Bronya knows how to judge an opponent's combat power and how to use Project Bunny to protect herself.

For the New Year, Bronie always likes to spend it according to the customs of Shenzou.

At the same time, this is also the happiest time for the children.

Happier than the Little Skirt Day every month.

Bronya went to show off her Project Bunny to Sin. Sin refused to admit defeat, saying that no matter how powerful the strength was, it was not worth mentioning in the face of the power of time.

The two refused to concede to each other, so they went directly to the training ground to have a showdown.

Time?

Strictly speaking, it's not time. Bronya has seen similar powers to what Sin controls, the Herrscher of Void, so she immediately had Project Bunny put up a shield to protect herself, making it impossible for Sin to inflict any effective damage.

In the end, Sin's noisy complains ended, unable to do anything to Bronya, and Bronya easily won!

Although she was unwilling, Sin also felt that Bronya's combat power had greatly increased, not because her equipment was not good, but because Bronya had indeed undergone some kind of transformation in these two months.

Sin is quite jealous.

But before she could think more about it, she was dragged into her room by Miss Nina.

Bronie never expected that Nina could be so dominant in front of Sin, even though Nina, like Siera, is usually very restrained.

After proving her position as the leader of the orphanage, Bronya went to Bronie's office to boast about her victory.

But when she opened the office, Bronya saw a familiar figure.

The Elation Aha!

"Bronya, pour a glass of cola for The Elation."

"Okay!"

Without looking back, Bronya left the office, fearing getting involved with this Star God.

"So, what instructions does Lord of Elation have for us?"

Back in the office, Bronie never expected the Aeon to be waiting for her there.

This is simply terrifying!

"It's nothing, just wanted to drop by. Aha feels like you're planning to make a very interesting game again. Ahaha, Aha felt honored~"

Bronie subconsciously looked at the mask hanging on the wall.

"Persona, huh?"

"Wanna give it a try?"

"What?"

"Emanator of Elation, the true power of the Path~"

"Hmm, sounds tempting, but I refuse!"

Faced with Bronie's refusal again, Aha didn't get angry but burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! Ahaha has lost face! Haxxor is really interesting! But Haxxor, guess what Ahaha did here?"

"Ah?"

Suddenly, the Elation said so, and Bronie became nervous.

"Hahaha, that expression is really good! Then, Ahaha will definitely give you a little surprise later as a reward for the game~ Night City is really interesting. The people there are also very interesting. As for Persona..."

As he spoke, the Aeon also looked at the mask hanging on the wall.

"If it's done well, Ahaha will have a reward~ Are you looking forward to it? Do you feel a little excited?"

No, Bronie just feels her blood pressure rising like crazy.

Although the Royal Edition of Persona 5 is indeed very good, the new plot afterward feels like a bit of a letdown, which Bronie doesn't like at all.

If she were to improve the plot, Bronie also doesn't have the confidence to modify it perfectly.

As for Cyberpunk?

That's just piling up materials, enriching the content, and adding interesting parts. It's basically coming up with ideas one after another relying on the powerful functions of the Genesis System.

And Persona is purely a story game, adding some RPG elements. To improve the plot to a level that satisfies the Elation, Bronie honestly doesn't have much confidence.

"I just hope you won't punish me directly after being disappointed with the game. Oh, you really know how to add pressure to me, Aeon of Elation. The Elation, where have I caught your attention? Can't I change it?"

Chapter 149: Persona·Remake

Before Bronie's time travel, Persona was already a very old IP. It's just a pity that, due to the unique living environment at that time, it was basically difficult to access the earlier versions of Persona.

So the first time Bronie truly encountered this game series was with Persona 5 Royal Edition.

At that time, there was a slogan all over the internet proclaiming Persona 5 as the best. Bronie happened to have no other games to play at the time, so she chose this game.

Of course, the main reason was that the PS exclusive finally came to PC, which gave Bronie the chance to play it.

However, after truly experiencing it, Persona left a lasting impression on Bronie's heart.

It's the kind of game that seems ordinary at first glance, but the background music that starts playing when you're about to steal a treasure hooks you in and makes you want to play more.

Then the tightly woven plot gradually pulls you in, introducing new elements every once in a while, until you're close to the end of the game, always offering something new.

It's easy to get lost in it, and after watching a thrilling anime-like episode, it leaves a deep mark in the player's memory.

And the overall storyline of the game is also very educational, helping Bronie, who was just entering society and feeling lost, to clarify her life goals.

No longer just someone pushed by fate, bewildered and without goals or dreams.

The human psyche undergoes three transformations: the camel, the lion, and the infant.

Aha is in the infant stage, or maybe something else entirely, while Bronie at the time felt like a camel, always being led forward without ever considering why she should move forward or what she was moving forward for.

Looking back now, that kind of aimless state is quite regrettable.

When a person transforms into a lion, they have a goal in mind, perhaps a vague concept, but a life that was once passively accepted turns into actively seeking something, having their own ideas, demands, and the pursuit of their own life meaning.

To be honest, Persona had a big impact on Bronie.

"This time, the character's style... Sister Bronie, are you not planning to make a more realistic game?"

Cyberpunk emphasizes realism, and if you max out the graphics, the game's visuals can truly reach a photorealistic level.

Bronya thought Bronie would rely on the powerful features of the Genesis System to create a more realistic and expansive game world.

But looking at this art style, it's totally two-dimensional.

Of course, the bright colors, cheerful lines, and elements that make up the game create a unique style.

Bronya couldn't quite express it, but she felt quite fond of it, especially the bold use of color, which can really evoke players' emotions.

This is no longer something that a mere coder can achieve; it requires a high level of artistic attainment and an understanding of color to create such powerful emotional expression.

"Bronya, the most important thing about a game is not realism, nor is it size; it's about being fun. And think about it, if the graphics are so high that everyone's computers can't handle it, how many players will actually play this game?"

And most importantly, there's the Switch to consider. This time, Cyberpunk 2077 didn't launch on the Switch platform, after all, the game is too large, and the performance requirements are too high.

But Persona doesn't have to worry about that.

"In the future, Bronya will definitely make a super realistic game, making everyone feel like they've traveled to another world!"

Okay, Bronya seems quite persistent about the realism of the game.

"If people have to work and earn money in the game and then take out loans to buy houses, then forget it."

"Bronya, can you not talk about such realistic things?"

"Aren't you pursuing realism?"

Bronya shrugged, and Bronya could only sit on the side sulking, quietly watching Bronya create a new game.

The modeling of the animation, because it has to match the style of the game, Bronie's character models have more of a manga feel than the three-render-two style like Guilty Gear.

Thief, high school student, Kamoshida.

When the image of the subtly perverted physical education teacher appeared in front of Bronya, it honestly gave her a great shock.

When she was young, she was understanding Kamoshida, slandering Kamoshida, then resurrecting and defeating Kamoshida in the race, becoming Kamoshida, and finally surpassing Kamoshida.

The protagonist that players control might follow a similar path.

To be honest, Bronie had seen a very explosive video before, which was the Ten Jumps ending where all the female characters were replaced with male characters, especially the line from Kamoshida, 'Although I'm not a good teacher, but you are too...' This line was the highlight.

Thinking of this, many happy memories of games emerged, and Bronie's game development became even faster.

Having experience in making animations, Bronie's production of this game can be said to be very fast.

Coupled with Eden's and Griseo's artistic guidance, the color scheme of the game stands out as non-mainstream.

However, upon closer inspection, one can see the protagonist's perception of the world within the game, as well as the inner theme of rebellion and resistance.

At the last moment before the Lunar New Year, Bronie created the game's opening OP and uploaded it to the internet, accompanied by music.

The overall gameplay isn't very long. If you only play through the first round, especially on an easy difficulty, it'll take around ninety hours at most.

The interactions with the red-haired passerby Sumire Yoshizawa have increased, and with the schoolgirl entering the plot earlier, although the favorability rating can only be maxed out in the third semester, there's more to do in the main storyline.

Moreover, more foreshadowing and setups have been added, allowing the schoolgirl's storyline to appear more smoothly and naturally, becoming the designated female lead.

As for the clown mole Akechi Goro?

Bronie isn't planning to whitewash him. She just slightly modified his image of being all-evil, making the background of that mole-like character more substantial.

Doing bad things should have reasons, and after doing bad things, one should also bear the consequences.

Such antagonists can be likable, and their death won't feel jarring.

How should she put it, it's like Otto.

No matter what bad things Otto does, he always has a very clear purpose. And the world he wants to create has countless reasons that move people—pure love.

To go crazy for love, that's Otto's main theme.

As for Akechi Goro's main theme, Bronie believes it should be selfish justice at all costs, and the tone of someone who, despite being overmatched, still can't control their ambitions.

Bronie added more depth to Akechi Goro, gradually transforming him from a clownish mole into someone with his own unique thoughts and aspirations, intending to use his own father to create his ideal society, only to be betrayed.

In the process of interacting with the protagonist, rather than more false interactions, Bronie arranged more of Akechi Goro's own aspirations for the world, his understanding of society, his ambition to use the mask of personality, but fundamentally hoping for the world to become a better place.

Similar to the protagonist's goals, but the methods are completely opposite.

A mere effot cannot negate the sins that a character has bore, and Akechi Goro is the kind of person who is willing to bear sins, yet also wants to change the entire world through his selfish means to create a utopian world.

To be honest, Bronie never liked the kind of villain who changes his ways, erases others' memories, and then whitewashes himself.

So in the end, Akechi Goro's death can be considered a relatively decent ending for this antagonist.

After all, Akechi Goro is just a child, and his undisguised ambition was soon noticed by his biological father.

At the moment when Akechi Goro revealed his fangs, the entire protagonist team fell into a trap.

And in that ambush of justice, perhaps he wanted to retaliate against his own biological father, or perhaps he realized that his ideals might be wrong. In the end, he sacrificed himself to give the protagonist team a chance to escape, entrusting his dream to the protagonist.

Hoping that he can create the beautiful world he longs for.

Adding a sense of mission to the protagonist, the burden on their shoulders becomes heavier, effectively killing two birds with one stone.

At least, compared to the original, the Akechi Goro in Bronie's hands can be said to be completely different from the original. Although both are doing similar things.

After the game was finished, Bronie experienced the entire game process herself, relishing the new game plot, as well as the content of the third semester and Sumire, which is the special plot of the Royal Edition.

After that, Bronie still felt like it was something.

The antagonists have their own appearances, and the plot doesn't feel disjointed. You can get close to the schoolgirl from the first semester, and even see the legendary scene of the Ten Jumps on Valentine's Day.

It can be considered the more perfect Persona in Bronie's mind!

An RPG turn-based combat game with a theme of rebellion and promoting positive energy in the plot. That's how it was born!

As for the music, naturally, they'll have someone from Haxxor Bunny Studio sing it.

In terms of production, Bronie has quite a few drafts in mind.

After all, there are so many heart-touching BGMs in P5R. Just listening to the music alone makes you feel awesome, unable to help but feel like a king on the street with your hands in your pockets.

"Is it done? Bronie, sister, it's time to start making New Year's Eve dinner."

"Finally finished before the New Year's Eve. There's no way around it. This game needs a lot of text, and every character's words need to be carefully considered. Making the dubbing is also exhausting!"

Thinking about having to cook New Year's Eve dinner soon, Bronie suddenly felt like she wanted to bury her head and sleep immediately.

Tired, especially with the Aeon Aha giving pressure. Bronie was afraid that if the plot's pace was off, the whole game would collapse.

"Do you need Bronya to make New Year's Eve dinner? Everyone has finished cleaning the house, and the only thing left is the cooking part. Bronya believes she can handle this task."

"Um... what are you going to use for cooking, canned food?"

"Sister Bronie, how did you know! Bronya has never cooked before..."

Geez, Bronie knew it.

When it comes to cooking, Bronya might not be able to match Sieg's Judgement of Shamash Pizza Toast, but it's definitely not bad either.

Basically, it's just a state of being able to eat.

It's the canned food that's easy to store and tastes good that Bronya loves.

In terms of cooking, Bronya's skills are almost entirely focused on how to make canned food delicious.

Although there's no need to worry about nutrition or anything, and the taste is decent.

But Bronie always feels like it lacks soul!

Bronie reluctantly got up from her office chair and grabbed Bronya's steering wheel.

"Laziness is not allowed on such important holidays, Bronya~"

"Ooh~"

The steering wheel turned into a small bun~

Then Bronie opened the office cabinet and took out a chocolate, handing it to Bronya.

"I'm going to cook now. We're going to have a hearty meal tonight!"

"Even though we eat hearty meals every day."

"It's different! Just think of it as me reminiscing about the customs of my hometown, okay?"

"Bronya has never seen such customs in Night City, although it's possible for people in Haywood to have gatherings..."

"It's actually Taixumen. It wasn't included in Night City, probably because it's the only nostalgic thing I left behind from my hometown."

"Oh~"

When Bronya heard this name, she knew it had a style similar to Shenzhou.

Come to think of it, Night City has no Chinatown besides the Japanese street.

The only thing related to Shenzhou, at most, is the Conde Corporation, an intelligent weapon production company.

In one of the missions, they attacked the Conde's security company in order to kidnap the biological chip manufacturing engineer Herman.

That mission was quite challenging, to be honest, because the other side had intelligent weapons, and it was easy to be suppressed by firepower when they met.

"Alright, the game is finished, and Haxxor Bunny Studio is ready to start promotion. After the New Year, the game will probably start selling online. This time, the game will focus on the story. Although it's not as big as Cyberpunk, I think everyone will still love this game."

The art style is unique, which can also be a selling point for the game.

There are many interpretations of the concept of personality masks, but a person's personality is not unchanging. The overall tone of the Persona series should be based on the spirit of rebellion, breaking norms, breaking mediocrity, and breaking the shackles of thought.

【Hope everyone can abandon the constraints of the camel, become lions in thought, and the Persona will meet everyone during the Lantern Festival. Hope everyone will like the brand-new story presented by Haxxor Bunny Studio!】

Following that, the game's OP, as a promotional video, was released online.

Chapter 150: Suspect, Understand, Fear

In 2013, for the Honkai world, this could be considered the most peaceful year after the Second Impact.

As the prototype of the Herrscher, Bronie still paid close attention to Raiden Mei.

Nowadays, in the era of informatization, Otto had launched a large-scale data monitoring system called Schicksal OS in major cities long ago in order to expand his influence.

Based on network monitoring and personal information integration, it prevented crimes before they happened.

Although it couldn't prevent everything, Otto always seemed to be one step ahead in many matters.

And the Valkyries of Schicksal were even quicker in completing their missions.

It's worth noting that some Valkyries might face not only the Honkai beasts but also other humans as enemies.

They were loyal to Bishop Otto, knowing full well that this was the dark side of Schicksal that they had to bear, and they willingly joined.

Of course, in the last peaceful year, Bronie continued as usual.

Train when necessary, study when necessary, play games when necessary. As for plans against the Honkai, Bronie said her mind was filled with intelligence, leaving the planning to scientists smarter than herself.

Of course, Bronie wasn't referring to Tesla or Einstein. Although they could be considered intelligent scientists, in terms of scheming, they were really no match for Dr. Mei and Vill-V.

After all, scientists from the previous civilization had huge problems to deal with internally, in addition to combating the Honkai.

Humans paid a great price before they could unite.

Dr. Mei had finally become the leader with great difficulty, and there were reasons for Elysia's hard work in it.

But these unpleasant things were not meant to be thought about during the New Year.

Every year during the New Year, Bianka would find a way to come to the orphanage to celebrate together. Unfortunately, for Mr. Otto, who had no family, the so-called New Year was just a day off for him as Bishop of Schicksal.

Fortunately, with the presence of the Bunny, Otto felt less bored on his days off.

Once bored, when he calmed down, Otto couldn't help but reminisce about Kallen.

Five hundred years of memories, who wouldn't go crazy?

Only when busy, feeling that he was indeed advancing towards his goal, could he slightly calm down.

Rest?

Rest my ass!

But now it's different.

To be honest, Otto never thought that there would be such a traveler in the Sea of Quanta, and that this traveler, after coming to this world, had a goal similar to his own—to resurrect the people of the past.

Compared to five hundred years ago, Otto honestly felt that resurrecting people from fifty thousand years ago was even more absurd.

She loved the world, believed in the power of humanity, was very confident in her own strength, and believed that everything in the world had a unique meaning.

It's no wonder she caught the eye of the Elation Aeon.

Just from her works alone, Otto could see a shining soul.

This time, Bronie released a new game, and Otto was very curious about what kind of game Bunny wanted to make.

How should I put it, Otto also knew that in Cyberpunk 2077, there were many elements from Bunny's hometown.

But Otto never thought that Bronie's hometown could be so... rundown.

Even more unimaginable was that in such a rotten environment, there would still be people like Bronie.

It's simply legendary.

It's said that Night City has no living legends, but isn't this Bunny just like V?

Understand the heart, understand the heart, and believe in the heart.

Because Bunny always believed that he, as a bishop who had lived for five hundred years, was not a heartless egoist, but someone who believed that there was a more important goal in his heart, driven by deeper emotions.

No wonder he felt like he was being seen through.

And this time, the game was called "Persona".

Although Bronie released two trailers with different background music, one showed the protagonist group skateboarding on the highway in a depressing environment, and the other was a bit more cheerful.

However, both trailers hinted at the tone of the game.

In the beginning, one environment was oppressive, allowing for the full release of oneself, while the other broke conventions, using bolder and more vivid colors to spread emotions.

Although there were good artistic achievements in the Spiritfarer before, in terms of style, color, imagery, and character design, it was all very meticulous.

But this time, Bunny was trying a more innovative style.

How should I put it, Otto found it quite miraculous.

How could Bronie think of making such a game again?

Breaking the lies of society, breaking free from conventional constraints, pursuing the will of freedom—those thoughts conveyed in the lyrics made Otto feel uneasy. Uneasy about what?

Uneasy that the Schicksal organization was not purely an organization to combat the Honkai.

If Bronie were to expose this prematurely, it would cause a lot of trouble for his plans later on.

Was this a warning? It must be a warning, right!?

Although a bit annoyed, the game still had to be played. Bronie, walking on the Path of Elation, the one favored by The Elation.

In terms of understanding philosophy, she indeed surpassed normal people by far, and in terms of thinking, she was also quite free.

Just a slight contact could make one feel that kind of carefree personality.

And it wasn't the kind of disregard cultivated in Night City. Fixed perspective, turn-based combat, the protagonist as a phantom thief, was actually caught in traps set by the police during the theft process!

The initial setting was quite cool, and the protagonist, clad in a trench coat and mask, exuded a feeling of 'I'm cool' all over, reminiscent of Kallen in her youth.

Yes, those vibrant young people, in the face of adult lies, bravely stood up for justice, exposed lies, and upheld their own inner justice, feeling invincible in wanting to change the beautiful world in their hearts.

When Kallen faced the lies of the church, she also made her own resistance!

From the plot of the protagonist awakening the Persona Mask, to resisting Shindo,

Otto thoroughly understood the main theme of the game's plot.

"Kallen..."

It was a feeling of heartache. A feeling forced to remember.

Why did Kallen give up living back then? Why did she silently accept the judgment of Schicksal?

Wasn't it because of disillusionment, because she had resisted before, but still failed?

Because she couldn't change anything herself, she realized her own powerlessness, so she felt despair.

But until the last moment, seeing the girl in front of her almost killed by the Honkai beasts, she broke free from her constraints and, without hesitation, used her own life to save others.

Despair is only temporary.

At that time, Otto didn't help Kallen find hope, and everything was already too late. And how should the protagonist group shaped by Bronie act?

Just a mere physical education teacher is not enough to change the whole world.

They don't have grand ambitions, only believing they have the power to change hearts, so they can try to change something.

But even with such seemingly childish behavior, a somewhat naive story, it still lingered in Otto's mind.

Without the sadness of Cyberpunk, the hallucinations of possession, or the heaviness of Bloodborne, but that positive, free-thinking ideology was conveyed.

Was this dedicated to the Elation Aeon?

Even if it wasn't dedicated to the Aeon, but the plot of the game could subtly convey the meaning of the joyful path.

Perhaps Bronie wouldn't understand all the philosophical concepts contained in the joyful path, but this ideology, this will, conveyed through the game, would let more people understand, let more people seek the meaning of life, their dreams.

This is indeed very valuable. Resist constraints, seek freedom, uphold justice, overcome nothingness.

Yes, overcome the nothingness in one's own heart. In the end of the game, Maruki wanted to create a world where no one would be hurt through cognitive modification, but his method was wrong.

Even if you strengthen yourself through cognitive modification, you can never ignore objective facts. If the world really became like that, to be honest, human civilization would inevitably come to an end, because the development of science requires objective facts, not subjective cognition. In that final ending, Maruki's battle with the protagonist was like a collision of minds and wills.

"Haxxor Bunny has made another incredible game, a turn-based RPG game. The style, music, all exude a rebellious style, very much like Haxxor Bunny's usual self. Oh, and a bit sultry."

Welt closed the game, ending the live broadcast after chatting with the audience for a while.

The game had been live for several days, and the plot had all been broadcasted.

[Haxxor Bunny: You're the sultry one!]

"Alright, thank you, Miss Haxxor Bunny, for sending me the sc... I'm praising you, okay! Congratulations on making another piece of art, guiding countless lost souls to pursue the freedom in their hearts. How about coming for an interview next time? I'm sure everyone would be very interested in your ideas, right?"

[Haxxor Bunny: Sorry, I'm busy lately. Making games is tiring~]

"Oh? Does that mean Haxxor Bunny already has an idea for the next game? Can you tell everyone what kind of genre it is?"

[Haxxor Bunny: I'm thinking about it, I'm thinking about it! But lately, I'm busy thinking about how to save the world, so I probably don't have time to think about games. Be prepared!]

Seeing Haxxor Bunny leave such a message, Welt couldn't help but frown. The so-called saving the world certainly referred to the Honkai.

And being prepared meant that the Third Honkai Eruption might be about to happen!

Be prepared? How will she prepare?

"Haha! Haxxor Bunny, you're really good at joking. So, I wish Haxxor Bunny a happy New Year here, although this wish is a bit late. And the live broadcast ends here for today. Tomorrow, I will upload an analysis of the Persona plot, for everyone to appreciate the philosophical concepts buried by Haxxor Bunny in the game's plot, and what kind of mindset Haxxor Bunny hopes everyone will have, to be camels or lions, the freedom of the mind, what does it really represent!"

EndlessFlow

There was a chapter on Elysian realm that Bronya name mixed up with Bronie so it got a bit confusing, and at the last chapter Bronya name was used all the time even though it was obviously Bronie

EndlessFlow

145/146: Seeing Bronya seemed to be thinking about something, Bronya continued, ... Bronya cares quite a bit about Kiana < here I don't know if it's Bronie ... Bronya follows Bronya's gaze ... "Hello, Miss Bronya, and Miss Bronya." 150: The entire chapter with no Bronie name. Maybe there's more but that was what I found on a quick search

Finally Fixed it. I think I glossed over Bronie at 150 due to no scenes. Whats weird is 146 since i clearly remember every sentence being fixed already. Sorry for the inconvinience.
