Just got my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago it sucks make sure u get a lot of soup that’s abt all u can eat

not a dentist, do y'alls own research I got all 4 wisdom teeth out at once. I was put under for it and I am glad I was. As someone who also puts stuff off, Call them right now and get your appointment locked in. I'll give you some motivation. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and it was sideways. I left it long enough that it damaged the root of the tooth in front of it below the gum line. I eventually needed a root canal which fucking sucked and then it still got infected under the gumline somehow, a resorbtion I think they called it, and so I had the molar pulled. It took way longer to heal since I was older and it was a deep pocket so I had to get a bone graft (they filled it with chunks of bone which will fuse with my bone for the next 7-9months) and then I'll have a chance at the area accepting an implant which will cost me well over $6000. ALWAYS take care of your teeth and your health in general as early as you can so that you are being preventative and not reactionary. I have a lot more to say about it that I am going to put in a message to you but it's pretty stream of consciousness style tips and Chatgpt is probably better.
