I prefer them out of frame because then the ASMRtist comes closer to the camera and its more tingly

I like the mic's in frame!!!! Might seem silly, but I'll compare it to using a red shell in Mario kart. It's alot more satisfying to watch the kart get hit directly in front of you. Rather than listening to it get hit in the distance. :P
