I thought this was an amazing chapter. Situations unrelated but i felt echos of difficult conversations and challenges ive had with close friends IRL. And inspiration.

That electric paper stuff really made me think of the perspective (?) of "what are circuits but runes, channeling energy into a ritual?". Probably paraphrasing that horribly, the idea being that channeling electricity through a circuit is analogous to channeling mana through a ritual. And if you can make the rituals using just paper, without the expensive reagents, without the Crimson Fire Root or Neodymium, that sounds game changing.
