In here you meet the Boobtree-lady. Her name is Eve.

You can talk to her or stare at her boobs. She is unrelated to the Dead Waters quest, but she'll have a more important lore in the future.

You can enter this tunnel when you've encountered the glowing mutant in the Water Purifier (and talked to Dr. Oktorr about it)
