Okay, first official rule to being a member: No one is allowed to speak ill of factory workers. The bs they put up with is insane. I had no idea.

Tl:dr I've been working for almost 10 years and I have NEVER heard of "mandatory overtime!"
It's literally the one thing that made me quit. The job was fine otherwise.

The people were nice, the drive was short, and I could complete the tasks expected of me. However, having to stay an extra 6 hours weekly, past the 40 hour mark? For the amount I was being paid? I can't see myself doing that every single time. I'm sure some of you guys can stay on your feet for that long, but I'm not built for it. I really tried, and it took it's toll on me.

Anyways. Back to the hunt. Expect more updates soon, animation-wise or personal

That happened to me at an old job of mine. Before the one where I was pushed to quitting. They kept expecting me to stay longer for overtime, but they wouldn't tell me beforehand. There were times when it could be expected, to where a forward notice wasn't needed. But that wasn't for every time. But there were times when I had something scheduled, such as a medical appointment, and they couldn't keep me longer. But I still lost the job anyway later. Something that they didn't train me well for happened, and they blamed me. I hope you can get a new job just as fast, or faster, this time. One that's more fair in its work load.

Got blamed for something they hardly told you about? RELATABLE. I'll find something better. I'll bet it's not going to be as good as my retail job, but it sure won't be as bad as that particular factory either.
